I've always thought... Why the fuck should I listen to a rapper if I know someone else writes his verses?
That doesn't make sense.

This.
If Detox is ever coming, it'll be a pussy record written by other rappers like Rick Ross, Kendrick, Eminem. (?)
I don't wanna hear someone else's lyrics from Dre's mouth, and i don't think anyone else will.
Dre fell off, now it's the time when we can forget about Dre.
It's kinda sad, i used to like Dre, he should just stay doing what he can do best, beats. :-s

A lot of big rappers & esp. big music artists from other genres use ghostwriters... as a matter of fact countless of all time great songs have been ghostwritten.

Kind of...Cube & MC Ren were N.W.A's ''pens''. They wrote the majority of Straight outta Compton but Cube left the group later on so the majority of Niggaz4life was written by MC Ren & The D.O.C.

I can't swallow this truth even today.

It's normal homie... we're talking about different types of artists here. There are Hip-Hop artists who are either just rappers or producers but there are ones that are either rappers/producers or producers/rappers as well. Dre is the definition of a producer/rapper.
Speaking of that... The D.O.C. is highly considered as ''the pen'' behind almost an entire sub-genre in Hip-Hop.

Singin' "Bagpipes from Baghdad" again
In my dad's drag draggin' a faggot in a Glad bag
Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line
Forgive me father, for I have sinned
But hip hop has left me brainwashed with a violent streak

So supposedly Ross wanted the record for himself...
There was no Dre feat on his last album so I guess he either didn't get it or it didn't make the album which means it most likely won't see the daylight anyway.
