I heard this probably 2 weeks ago. I can still remember what I heard because you are so serious with your music and I like listening to serious artist. Your lyrics are of very high caliber, compared to the average joe, you are lyrically nicer. Your flow and lung capacity is very experienced, you can hold your own with big Hip Hop names if you came down to it. You outshined GAGE by a long shot, although I feel that was his wackest verse I've ever heard, it was garbage. What the hell happened to him there?
Anyways, recording wise, this was perfection. You put in a lot of work and it payed off. Your voice has matured and your tracks are sounding much nicer because of it, in time they will sound even greater once your voice has fully reached it's adulthood. For Hip Hop you are a good newcomer, and you put yourself on show by going at beats everyone else is competing on, and do it just as nice, if not better. (Beamer Benz Or Bentley etc.)
Now for the stuff you could work on. Your voice and delivery sounds like you do a lot of takes before you get it right. Drink much more water the next time you record to prevent your voice from sounding tired. Or even take a break if you can't get it perfect, leave it for another day, don't rush. For you the best time to record imo is mornings. Because your voice is somewhat high pitched, your voice will sound more powerful in the morning, and you will notice your delivery will have more energy.
On this mixtape, you pretty much had one flow, one delivery, and one rhyme-scheme on every track. The mixing was the same on every track, got me bored right away. (I know you didn't mix this) See what you did was, because you didn't switch it up much, you gave yourself a standard before I could get really interested in your work. It's repetitive, and it kills my thirst for more. Your beat choice is commercially accepted, except it makes you sound pretty average.
You have so much potential to make your own sound for yourself, but you are mislead into following a trend of misguided rappers seeking to be the next rapstar, except this isn't much different from what gets put out now a days. Originality has a much more stronger impact to the listener and if you learn to use it, you will find it much easier to get noticed. It is always our beats and our subject matter that makes an artist who he is. Keep that in mind. Other than that, I enjoyed your lyrics more than anything else on this. Because your beats, I'm not fond of.
Good tape, you are a hard worker.
