A audio stage idea

So this might not be the right section but I wanted everyone to see this. I had a good idea for this section, it was to have compition/awards. Whether it be monthly, yearly I don't really know but I think it would be a good idea to keep this place going.

You get a decent amount of feed back but that's about it. Why should it stop there? Here are a few of my ideas:
-16 bar compition. Have brackets with predetermind beats, either have selected judges or everyone in the comp judges as a whole. This would give notoriety to those who deserve it and also will help step each others game up
-awards. Be it monthy or yearly we should have awards. Top mc, top producer, best newby, best lyrarcist ect... Again this would only help get the real talent noticed
-Trshady mix tape- know it's been tried before and noth has happened yet but it would be sick.
-True battles. Not the bs written battles. That shits Waco. Why not have real recorded battles.


These at just a few basic ideas if anyone has better one post en, and mods please think about this, I think it would put a spark in this section that it really needs. Sticky if possible.

Pretty much all of these things have been tried over the years this place has existed. Obviously the reception wasn't big enough for people to bother carrying them on.

Now Robbie G and Class_the_King apparently are working on a second one which I think is going pretti good. I havent heard news from it in a while, but looks good.

about the battles, people barely have to time to collab/record, dont expect them to battle haha

Yeah I gave 2 beats for a collab.... Like 2 months ago. Got nothing back, what a bummer. I understand people have lives along with work/school but common!

yeah, but honestly, I was disgusted by it. my beat got sped up and remixed or something, sounds awfull... steve did great, but I hated what was done to the original concept/beat/mix

Oh really? Steve did that because he liked it better that way. If you don;t want that done to your beat I guess I could ask him to record to the original beat.

Yeah Ax I just did that 'cause I thought it sounded better. Don't get me wrong the beat is HOT, just wayyyyy too slow, needs to be more lively, you know?
