i deffffffo agree on a set topic/concept

i also think that all songs must be done on the same beat

maybe with the same beat, maybe u guys can use the beat mart and i had worked on for the tr collab, but that doesn't seem to go no where.

not set topics or concepts coz first off the random brackets could throw someone against a guy alot more expeirenced now that aint really that bad you got to step up, but then the set concept for both artists could give someone alot stronger advantage, everyone has there concepts they are great at while the other might have never did this concept before its a disadvantage that aint fair.


i say do the knock out thats the best way but just have it that both use the same beat not chosen by either artist but chosen by the organizer, its the eiseist way to judge the better artist, they both have the same canvas then we get to judge who did best on it.

but then having the same beat will give an advantage to some more than others, what if it's a fast beat, what's if it's up beat...

I think they should both get to agree on it, or we give them 3 diff topics and 3 diff beats and they decide which to use.

what!! nah i think it shud be the same beat ..and same concepts..doesnt matter if some are at a disadvantage its who can make the best track and make it there own at the same time..thats what being an artist is all about...even tho u might not have nothing to do with the topic theres always a creative way u can relate to it ...in the end everyone has the same topic an beat to work with so its fair ....making all these lil adjustments is like crutching the artist creativity

topic could be guns

duznt mean i have to make a song about shooting ppl

i could make a track about how ive seen ppl die from them

or make a track about how i'll never use one

or make a track like 2 pac how he was talking about his gun like its his girlfriend "bonnie n clyde"

I Disagree, we have so many diverse artist

like if you put a gangsta topic, eminem wouldn't do it as well as ice cube
but if you put an emotional topic, ice cube wouldn't do it as well as eminem
