I didnt live those events, i was too young.

Active Member turned to more poetic and artistic style of music, which was baptised by BD Foxmoor as "lowbap". And there the thing started to break because Active Member started to alienate the hiphop. Hiphoppers retaliated by denouncing Active Member and a whole diss war between lowbap and hiphop started, which carried on to the audience and the fans as well. Officially lowbap was defeated and every lowbap group turned to hiphop afterwards, although Foxmoor himself can fill up a club easily. The group Active Member disbanded and was remade by Foxmoor, who still makes lowbap music until today. Hiphop survived until the golden age and then it died down. It was brought back again at 2004 by a mediocre hiphop group called Going Through, who turned mainstream and now mostly imitate american hiphop.

You see the pattern? That's why most people in the UK think UK rap is the best.

Personally i don't think any is "best", they all have good and bad points.
