It's been a mad while since I posted full feedback on an entire album and quite frankly, it's very annoying to do for me 'cause I'm lazy as FUCK. I do apologize for taking a while to get this through; and it's not even finished. Well Biggie Ax-D, in an overall view of this album, I'll start off saying the production is definitely unique and fresh. You do yourself justice with these beats and the sound you approach. Well mixed album. I'll admit, I don't understand your voice entirely throughout the album, but if I fully concentrated I know I'd be able to considering you have worked with your accent to make it understandable. Your flow is consistent, and you know how to flow well enough to make sure it doesn't get boring and switch it up enjoyably. It is wonderful you have gotten it up on Amazon and iTunes, and I hope you make something out of this.
1. The King's Speech
This is a very good way to start off the album. You sound so passionate at the beginning, with the introduction of yourself. It's exciting. Although both verses are enjoyable, I think the first one takes this. The vocals are really nice to listen to when the beat drops for a few seconds and hits back. It's sick. I feel the chorus is probably the least enjoyable part of this song. I didn't get that into it, and it was repetitve but not in a good way (not catchy). You put a lot of hardwork into this album, as I'm sure you always do, and it shows.
2. Where Are You Now
I love how the chorus is mixed. When it comes in at the beginning, it sounds extremely mesmerizing, and it's hard not to enjoy. Like you're speaking through some filter, and you're autotuned or something haha, but whatever you've done sounds great. I like what you did with the beat, it's dope (though I don't feel the snare that sounds like people snapping fingers). The 3rd time the chorus comes in with the sound of people clapping, that's dope as fuck. The verses are pretty good. I like this more than The King's Speech.
3. Take Me Higher
I wasn't feeling this beat that much, the keyboard sound throughout it and the bass line weren't that great. "Now look who's left behind, baby you can kiss my ass" Lmao, the way you delivered that is plain hilarious; nice. From the middle to the end of your first verse, the flow was pretty nuts. I found the hook really enjoyable. This is just a good song in general. Haha what'd you say at the end? "Little Mexico cojones!" ?
4. Cross The Loss
It was a pretty decent track, but because of the content it wasn't my favourite. I liked the layer on the chorus, the harmony sounded dope. This feels like one of those filler tracks, but for what it is it's done decently. I mean, I don't wanna think about Big Ax-D fucking girls, lool. Get it girl get it...Come and get it now. That part was funny, oh girl oh girl oh shit. This feels like your Just Lose It. Even the beat reminds me of it.
5. Evolution
This beat is trippy and dope as fuck. I think I'd honestly rather just listen to the beat than someone rap to it. This would sound dope at a club or something. Chorus is really good, I love how you sort of stretch out the end of your lines in a whiney way haha, it's good. I liked the little "evolution" voice you put in there. Pretty sick song.
6. Quiet Nights
I think this is one of my favourites so far, forgetting I've barely listened to half of the album as of yet. I was waiting for a sort of track like this. It's dope. You sound passionate, and like you really mean this stuff. The chorus is really nice, I found it catchy but dope as fuck at the same time. The bridge was cool too.
7. Without You
This is my favourite production on the entire album. I love it. The violin/chello is beautiful. This is what I've been waiting to hear from you on the tape, and I'm not let down. I'm a sucker for these kind of songs. You sound great on the chorus, really smooth and enjoyable. The verses are great. I'mma dickride this track, I absolutely love it. Just listen to your heartbeat, I bet it sounds like me. This is definitely getting many plays. Wonderful work Ax.
8. Villain
Pretty hard hitting beat. The devilish laugh was a nice touch. You went in on this. I feel your vocals could be a bit louder, maybe by only 1db. It would be a lot more clear. This is a unique take on the concept. It's more upbeat and energetic than usual for a song like this but it works. 'Cause I'm a villain, villain, villain, villain...Good work here. I loved the guitar solo with the piano medley, really nice.
I have listened to the rest, but I'm too lazy to give indepth feed on each.
