Preest - Blinded

Postby preest » Apr 8th, '11, 13:03

This track was something I really felt I wanted to make, it's basically aimed at all of those that are guilty of leaving Hip Hop as a culture behind and they are blinded by the money and fame that they have gained, as a result the whole game is dying....

I hope you like it...

So the concept was good, not original but it was good. your lyrics were solid, but them along with the rhymes were kinda simple. Flow was great in some spots, choppy in others. Hook, yeah not feelin it. Fav. line was " shit we use to feel your raps, but that deal musta went and kill your tracks". Delvery and emotion was great as always.

All in all this was not one of your best, it was above average but you have put out much better :y: Mind peepin my track?

I liked the content to and the chorus wasnt bad, i rarely listen to rappers with accents or any rappers at all really, but still you kill verses with a good sound, your voice works well the way you use it and flow was pretty much proper all the way through, good track, thanks for the feed on my song, im glad you did, so that i got to listen to this and pay respect back. :y:

I liked the concept, too. But it wasn't really a rare subject to use so the song loses creativity points, sorry.

The flow was good, delivery was pretty good aswell.

Just work on timing your dubs 'cause sometimes you start them too early or too late and it makes it seem all cluttered.

Other than that, I was really feeling this one. 3.5/5. Keep it up, homie.
Emotions get the best of me, the thought of you stresses me
Love me and break me, that's the fuckin' recipe
So why do I miss you? I'm walking on these eggshells

i feel you, i think a LOT of shit is really watered down nowadays

love your presence on the track, compliments your accent well

what im really diggin about this cut is the chorus, which gives this joint a somewhat eerie feeling
