Tribute Song To My Grandma Who Passed Last May

Postby Wreck » May 8th, '11, 10:23

....on mothers day no less.

to be honest i know the quality is probably shitty, or ok at the best, id post it just curious to see what the feedback is, because I don't care if the quality and everything else isn't on par, cause it's from a home mic, not studio quality, and i just made the track for her, and as a dedication, i'm going into the studio soon to record prof. sounding sounds for my album and mixtape. thanks.

This could be pretty good if you recorded it on an actual mic. You rushed your flow a bit in some part put it was pretty decent. It was about the lyrics obviously and you delivered on that end. Nothin really eles to say, hard to judge with such poor quality but I think if you rerecorded it on a studio mic and perfected your flow this would be ight.

Check out my new song off my LP and leave soem feed. viewtopic.php?f=38&t=113221 thanks

This was a good listen, quality aside i was listening to your lyrics and you sounded like you were writing from the heart when you wrote it and that's all that really matter's, i consider that rap, aka real shit, only thing i can say to better it would possibly be the flow, i can tell some of your lines are very long and crammed so its hard to get it all in, but thats not really a bad thing at all maybe just practice it more or go through it and take out little words that may not have to be there, possibly words like if, and or but, to give you more time to either breathe or fit it in better, basically rephrasing things, but still its a great track, one you'll always be happy you made

Thanks for the feed guys, I appreciate it, and yeah that's what I was going for, lyrics, but I'm working on the flow, and the delivery a lot too. Yeah the message was all what it was about for me.

The people listed in the first verse were best friends of her btw.

I'll check out your song man, for sure, and I'm gonna record it when I go to a local studio soon to record my album, and I'll post it here :D.

Thanks again, y'all could of hated, but you gave good, honest feed and that's whats it all about.

I liked this a lot. The quality was very distracting, though. Do you have anything else recorded with better quality?

Anyway, very heartfelt stuff. Good work, I'm sure you made her proud with this.

If you and Siinide don't start recording soon I'm going to fly to where ever you live, tie you up, put the mic in front of your faces and force you to record.

Going into a professional studio near my house in about a week or two. The quality issue should be resolved once I'm done recording a substantial amount of songs. Thanks for the feed man, I appreciate it.

Thanks all of you.
