What's up guys? Sorry I haven't been posting in awhile, I recently joined a label called XYZ Element Entertainment and I'm currently working on about 4 projects.

But anyways, here's the single to my new project called "L.O.V.E." which stands for "Life Opens Vulnerable Emotions". Check it out, it's called "Fuck You"... It's a remix to Atmosphere's "Fuck You Lucy"... Yes, I listen to Atmosphere. Slug = My favorite rapper of all time.

Oh dude, girl troubles man, I know how it feels.
Listen up, your flow is flawless, your voice is comforting even though you sound extremely angry in the song.
That's something I like about you, you suppress your voice and emotion.
It's stunning.
The....Ight ight enough butt kissing..The beat is pretty average man..
That guitar riff would of sounded better if it was a longer progression but fuck it man it grows on me after the second listen.
The hook with semi distortion sounds great, I like how you lowered the volume to make it sound like a rant lol.
The song lacks bass man try running a small layer of sub and a whole layer of normal bass and it will sound good on speakers.

Other then that, 7/10.

Not feeling it. You kept the same exact flow, emotion, rhythm and even some of the same lines, that Slug did.. Not only in the hook, but the verses, too. Slug being my favorite rapper, as well, I don't like that shit.

I can think of multiple flows / emotions / and ideas that would fit amazing over this beat...

Also, releasing this as a 'single' to your own EP is kinda fucked up... You blatantly bit everything in the song except for a few word changes.. If you listed it as, "Fuck You Lucy COVER" it would be different.

It's not a cover, it's a remix. I kept the same emotion because the song has one emotion, anger. I recently broke up with my girlfriend so I'm pretty sure it's going to have the same idea, that's why I used it.

I don't see how it's fucked up to release it as a single, you just took the whole concept of the song wrong and the idea of what I was doing. Listen again and realize what the point of the song was.

not bad dude, pretty dope. love the original song. I think the thing you need to improve on is rhyme schemes and multi's. First i think you can find a more fluent scheme to make the flow less choppy. and i caught alotta basic rhymes and along with the basic schemes had a simplistic feel to it. just some food for though...no disrespect. 7/10

It's 'paying homage' by making your song a carbon-copy of his, then naming it a single and saying it's a 'remix'? And how is it a remix if you didn't 'remix' the song with your own flavor? You didn't 'remix' it, you just copied it... Therefore, a cover with a few different lyrics.

A lot of different artists portray emotion in different ways.. You completely copied his tone entirely.. from the sarcastic/angry/whining voice, to the high pitched voice..

The point of the song was what? I'm not arguing that you shouldn't have made the song. I'm arguing that completely copying his and naming it a 'remix', then making it the single for whatever low-rent project you're pursuing, is kinda lame.

I get the point of what you were doing, I just don't agree with it. It's principle.
