- This was a bit of a side project for us, he gave me the beat a while back (it's the Free Falling beat...) and I decided since my flow and timing was way off on Free Falling to re-write to the same beat, but better. I think I was on beat and flowed smoothly this time! And this is it!! Enjoy!

This is the best I've heard from you. Use layers when you sing, it's what I do so I don't sound like utter shit (not saying you sounded like utter shit, but you're a pretty bad singer). The overall sound of this was 100x better than that serial killer shit. You're improving, definitely. This is what I want to hear from you, this sounds like Eedee; not some other rapper you tried to copy. Keep at it bruh.

Although for the verses I do have to say I flowed well and was on beat (the snares in the bars really brought out my rhymes, I think)

you nailed it solace.ive got a horrible singing voice too, but layers and layers with a touch of reverb on every vocal track makes a world of difference. youv e been improving tho eedee, and im glad your progressing. keep it up!

yep...layers is the key for this type of track...also Adlibs
actually the flow switching is very very nice (for the most part)...if mixed right and recorded more carefully i think this would be a really nice song...at places the recording seemed very rushed..and unmotivated.. some layers with -6.0dB and some layers panned 30% left...

oh edit: imo your delievery was very good for a main vocal..with layers you can help your delivery...not sayin you should build your delievery with layers..but you can add more athmosphere in your (already good performed) delievery with layers..

the beat is very dissonant, the guy who produces needs to know more about music than just hitting keys, the chord progression from keys to sample is fucked up. makes Michael Jackson sound dumb. Very very very bad choice of beat, needs mixing, needs fixing... work on that.

you do good, I like your lyrics but I think you need to put a bit more into it. make it smoother, try to be along the beat you know?? I dont know how to say, try not to pause so much, be more constant, and maybe up the complexity a bit.

i liked the lyrics, i can tell you put alot of work in to them. the delivery itself was the biggest weakness, theres a certain "softness" that just aint working. put a little more angst or anger or w/e . i loved teh beat. flow is good. again only the delivery was off. good stuff. i got some new stuff posted tell me what you think.

Thanks for the feedback on this one, man, I appreciate it. I did put a lot of work into the lyrics to make sure they had the right amount of balance between structure, multis, inverses, punchlines, etc. Glad you noticed.

Also... I re-recorded this to change my delivery haha. Soft? Hmm. Damn. I don't know what's up with that then... Damn it!! I think I put emotion on this track though, I kinda literally spit thru gritted teeth at some point. I could feel the emotion when I recorded though, I guess it didn't translate well onto track.

nah i meant soft as it sounded like you were saying it softly, maybe thats how you have to rap it, your right i can't imagine it being rapped in a hardcore angry voice, but idk something just didn't clip for me. it got alot better as the song went along tho, after a while i didn't notice it. i just remember thinking first that your delivery was off. but idk, im a beginner too yk
