Though you weren't exactly smooth, kinda sounding rushed here and there, you were on beat well. I like the enthusiasm in your voice, but you could have a stronger voice. Idk, your style somewhat reminds me of Watsky. The chorus was pretty cool. I mean, I can tell you have a lot of potential. This is your first song (you said using the instrumental of My First Song was pretty fitting or something so I assume) ? I think your vocals were too loud; in this case I think you overpowered the beat. Work on using something other than straight vocals; it can get boring. There are many techinques to use while recording. Mixing was pretty well done, though I don't like how different the chorus sounded from the verses mixing wise. Overall, definitely not horrid, and you can make some good shit in the future.
