More microphone testing, do you guys like the flat EQ?
Personally, I think it sound similar to Em's vocals in Role Model, lack of reverb anywhere, haha.
Tbh, this sounds fine to me, especially If I'm spitting on simple beats with just a kick, snare and a bit of rhythm like this beat.
Just the bluntness and warmness of the words..I try to lay off the treble a lot to give it a more raw feel..

I dont suggest you ever do somebody else's lyrics, expecially if they can do theyre own lyrics better than you can, right away i compared you to eminem and there's nothing your better at than he is, which leads me to saying you should just not do this and find a new hobby, this is as contructize as my feed can be, i disagree with ever doing something like this, why not just sing along to the song? or even writing something yourself on the beat wouldve been better, but remixing an already good song is never a good move at all unless you can be considered as good as eminem is, and do the song justice.

So you don't have a problem with this tone?
I just wanna get this outta the way so my friends will know that this is the vocal tone I'm gonna use for my next LP..It's crucial that I nail this, otherwise the album is going to sound like it was recorded in 20 locations.
And once I have the template, I have the basis of my voice on a platter.

I'm Googling some good EQ for vocals, possibly some Direct X plug ins..Hopefully it bears fruit.

So it's vital that I get EVERYONE'S opinion about stuff like if they can understand the words properly or is it too dull or too high..

It's the many perils of going into the studio, you don't want your shit sounding like a demo, it's gotta be pro.
You need the settings to be perfect so that your hardware will bring out the best of you..
You get scared of rapping too loud, you try not to speak softly and end up forcing a voice, all that shit is treacherous.
