I was bendin my back so bad with the pen and this pad
You received every ounce of attention I had.
I never guessed this would hap-pen,
All the stress that im havin was expressed through this rappin,

Gave me rap like crack til I caved in and had it.
But I embrace how you acted cause its made me strong
And gave me enough passion to lash and make this song!


I would sit in my class and pay attention to you,
And write rhymes the whole time til the lesson was through.

But you’re the fuckin reason for my lack of social life.
I don’t know why, just couldn’t stay away from your words
But when I couldn’t sleep you were just makin it worse.
You took advantage, its simple crook you planned this

I thought, maybe I should start writin a track or two
And use what you showed me to get back at you.

Haha yeah the chorus is pretty horrible but I've never attempted to sample myself so I can't give tips on that. It was a bit off beat too.

Your overlays are random, so I'd suggest to be more consistent with that. Your delivery is shakey, you speak normally for some parts then try to sound really angry or bitter and it sounds awkward like that. It seems you've grasped consistently staying relatively on beat by now. Sometimes your flow is very awkward even though it's on beat, your pauses and how long you stretch, so I'd just say for now work on being more smooth. Pace yourself and every word and really figure out at what speed you want them out at. You should enunciate your end rhymes a bit more than the rest of your lines, otherwise it gets unnoticeable.

the overlays are basically just wherever i want them, i get the end rhymes are where they usually are but ive heard them be in the beginning or simply things you want to stick out so thats what i did here.
and idk the delivery i guess could go either
but agree on the flow stretching and what not

quality was bad, chorus was wierd lol. i agree wiht solace on that one.
because i for some reason cant turn down my volume atm, its like super loud lol
and uncomfertable to hear so i'm just gonna comment mostly on the written part of it

I like the structure, shows your not an amatuer. I would say you need to use better words. or make some parts more interesting. A tactic i use, is to make every 4 bars sound differant then the last. makes everything sound fresh, and your listeners won't become bored.

and yeah, and cant mix hooks well so i wanted a sample, had that song in mind but couldnt find an accapella, so i took a girls vid from youtube and chopped it, raised the pitch and tried to fit it on beat.
wasnt meant for the beat at all was just me tryin hahah.
so yea hooks my bad

the girl at the start, or whatever that noise was....sounded horrific, after that tho is when things got better, kinda hard to get into this tho, 2 reasons

that girl or dryin cat, fucks the entire thing up

2, the beat sometimes get'sd louder than your vocals

Oh wow, the chorrus, is.... hmm, the problem is that its out of scale, but the idea was right haha

this is a BIG improvement from the last track I heard from you, your flow sounds more polished, your quality sounds better, just put your vox volume up a bit, you also sound more confident. thats dope. Your problem now is the layovers, you're doing them kind of wrong. first of all, they are too low and not completely matching, keep them on a low volume and add more.

i copy the verse, if i put it in the "exact" same spot it just goes as one, u cant even tell theyre there.
so i move the layovers a few milliseconds so you can tell i have made layovers.
first u tell me theyre too loud now theyre too quiet ahaha, ill work on em

whooa whooaa thats not how layovers are supposed to be hahaha, you dont copy your verse and place it behind lmao, you actually record a whole layovers track hahaha.

Yeah, you're supposed to record new parts for your layovers. They're supposed to be exactly matching. Like you said, if you copy the exact verse and make layovers out of that, there will be no difference to how it sounds other than the volume will increase for a few seconds.
