so i just found out yesterday that the college i dropped out of would re-honor my scholarship, so i'm going back this fall. i was so inspired i wrote a track about it tell me what yall think

I threw my life away - for this rap game
Gave Indians all across the country a bad name
Nah foreal – the damage was completely self-inflicted
And was embarrassing to me – even though it was well intended
Nobody ever said it – but I knew they were thinking it
Yea I made a mistake- fuck you think I’m winking at?
Life came full circle – fuck circular reasoning
I’m so happy I could start over and murder the beat again/
Cuz eight months ago – I was at an all time low
I dropped out of UK as some of yall might know
Saw a steady decline from my music to my sanity
Who the fuck would have guessed - they’d give it all back to me
What – ya Don’t believe me? yea you probably didn’t
Till two years later when I fucking left the college of business
Nah I’m playing god –I’m in it for the long haul
I’m an ugly fucking duckling – call this my swan song/

Oh I’m a believer – don’t take my word just yet
I just experienced a life changing turn of events
Who’d have guessed I’d take this irony shit one step further
I feel like I just got away with capital murder

Swear to god – ever since I was nineteen
I couldn’t even get a proper night’s sleep
I had the right dream – never asking why me
Asking god how – and if so why not now
Every rhyme I jot down – every line was thought out
But it always fucking seemed - like I was playing to the wrong crowd
I looked at my surroundings – the pressure was compounding
I didn’t know what to do – I didn’t have a fucking crew/
Who was I to turn to? – if the dream don’t concern you
Then why even care? – you know life isn’t fair
Ya gotta understand – I don’t got another plan
If I can’t make my parents proud I know my brothers can
That’s some real shit – and it hurts to say
That it works this way – but I’m sure today
When its all said and done – and all went wrong
At least I can say you heard it first from this song

I love how you incorporate real life experiences into your song which is what most true art should be based on. I like the hook and the basic happy flow of it. Good lyrics unique style. Keep up the good work.
