What up everyone I saw someone post a odd trio competition a while ago so I joined this one lol! theres a couple good rappers in there but for the most part just beginners trying to get better like me!

Tell me what you think! I tried to make my delivery a bit better and I memorized it this time but this was still only the 4th or 5th try recording. Also, I found out sometimes I was using my computer mic (unknowingly) and sometimes I use my good mic lol but I know now and for the most part used Triple93's settings!!

Quality was a step down from your first one, but that's Triple's fault (psh lol).

Lyrics were so nice on this one, dude. Great flow to it. You have that down, for sure.

Beat was interesting, all I can say for that. Sounds like a great freestyle beat!

Wow.. Your lyrics blew my mind lol they were great. You had a bunch of multi-syllables in there, it was great!!

Your flow and delivery was a real step up from your last track. This was makes you sound like you're actually interested in the song haha which is great. Your delivery could still be worked on but that comes with experience.

This is an amazing track considering you're just beginning to record.


As far as mixing - The only thing I notice is I feel like there is too much bass in your voice and it causes it to sound bad on this beat. Also, I feel like there is too much reverb, the setting I used for your last track worked with it but it sounds like there's too much of an echo to this one. You should go into the reverb settings and turn down the echo.

Also, go into your EQ and turn down the 125 slightly and 250 slightly while experimenting with the 2k, 4k, and 8k notches to see what sounds best.

Anyways, solid track man!

EDIT And don't be discouraged with the mixing man. It takes a long time to become decent at mixing because it takes so much experience with just listening to your own music and learning what sounds good and what doesn't sound good. If you want to, you can send me this acapella and beat again and let me mess with it - the settings I sent you usually work on every track but you need to adjust them slightly depending on the beat that you're recording to.

This is fucking fire man. The lyrics and flow (for the most part) are fantastic. The delivery on the last line was awesome. I'm deffo down for a collab, maybe even beyond the CW. Depends on how much time I get to myself cause recording's a bitch.
