KoLyric featuring Notebook- God's Lonely Man

Postby KoLyric » Oct 6th, '13, 02:01

Last feed (out of the many today lol): viewtopic.php?f=38&t=162594

My flow in the first verse, about half way, doesn't match with the change in the beat, and continues in the same tempo of the previous lines. Thus leaving an off sounding outcome.

Also, I recorded this song over a year ago. Only recently did I manage to FINALLY get a hook for it, and, luckily, the final product sounded dope enough to put on my upcoming release. (The biggest thing, in this track, that relates to the upcoming CD, is the content. It helps push the all around concept I'm sure you'll see upon its release!)

Without further ado:

You sound crazily like MC Anonymous, he used to post here. That's weird lol

I liked this, man. You have some nice lyrics with great imagery. You have a nice flow too. The flow slips up a bit like at the beginning of the second verse, but it's not too bad. Doesn't make it unlistenable. (I didn't notice the thing in the first verse that you mentioned).

I love your emotional delivery, especially on the "fire" part of the 2nd verse.

Finally got to hear you haha. Sounds good! Excited for the project!!

I really like your delivery. Eedee and I were talking about you sounding like someone that used to frequent the A.S. You've got a solid flow man, and the rhymes were dope dude. Like that first verse scheme that keeps coming back is pretty damn nice. The flow part you were talking about in the first verse isn't that terrible tbh, you kind of naturally make it flow rhythmically. The hook is dope too man, I really have no complaints for this song man.
You'd be surprised...

Oh yeah, the hook. The guy's quality isn't as good as yours BUT, it gave the hook a more... edge to it. If that makes sense. Like it meant to have a vinyl type feel to it.
