Microphone Settings?

And it does not sound better than my built in laptop mic. I sound muffled and I'm pretty sure it's fixable, but I don't know what to do.. Are there EQ settings or anything else I need to change? Thanks.

on the back there's 3 settings. one for Webcam, which is crappy quality, what u probly have it on.
the 2nd' is for long distance, if u were on the other side of the room and needed to chat.
and the 3rd is high quality recording. set it to that.

lol, i don't think that is at all right, but I put it on the third setting which helped out a lot. thanks.

lol, glad i could help tho. i only seen one, and the owner told me a little about it. so i guess i didn't remember it perfectly
