This album is almost a year's work, and i really tried to give it an overall theme and shit. I'm not gonna point it out cause that defeats the point, i'm interested to see how many people pick up on the little things on this album.

I have to give huge thanks to both Tash and Big Ax-D for producing most of this album and generally aiding its creation, and to Ax again for making the covers. Without them this'd just be a mixtape filled with Soundclick beats. I also thank the producers of the other beats, obviously.

Breakout (2010)
You can check it on Soundclick but note that a couple of the tracks i took my hooks off to improve for local release.
Also the player is below my Myspace player on my MySpace so if you want to use that for w.e reason here

All feed is appreciated, the more in-depth the better, but every listen is appreciated.

shit i have to get this off my chest...
who the fuck told you to sing or sing along....to sum it up: naaawwhhhh

flows: to be quite honest....Ax-D beats doesnt fit you...you always sound very uncontrolled on them..you go fast and then slow as soon as you realise you cant flow to it after 10bars...on tash beats you flowed very solid and regular....i prefered those tracks more...and on southclick beats..hmm its a 50-50 situation...cuz the south-ish Vybe beat didnt make you sound comfortable...but 2Deep,Royal and Snowgoons u did well

mixing: dude i think i never get used to your quality or way of mixing in combination with your pronouncation....that was a big let down...the mixing didnt improve at all...all your verse sounded very unclean and filled idk how to explain it...but check Ax's hooks....he's quality is on point and even his overlays sound clean...only time your mixing sounds somewhat good is when Tash had his touch on it...

features: well i like you didnt do so many features and the features you did were kool...bar venni,vetti,vecci...ax's hook are a highlight as they shine whenever they come in

lyrics: were very good....especially in the tracks you went deep on...but you still say fohkin way too much....in that aspect it doesnt really seem you matured on that...so it was a rollercoaster then it drops..nah kiddin but you could easily do it without sayin fohkin...

delivery: always a good Kez delivery....i can hear you do that rap shit from heart...and i respect that...but i was kinda like "oh hells nah" when you did the hook on Ahead Of Time..lol

fav tracks:If U Could Only Imagine,When We Were Young,Aspire and End Of Life

umm overall i dont wanna be a dick but i dont think i keep this tape....tash's production impressed me the most on this tape..and was the only improvement to me on it...altho its your project...
sorry kez.... :sweating:

Game Over: the beat is kinda cool, but it starts becoming overpowering at like 1:30 in...but i like the creativity...you two have a real special mixture when you combine your sounds--i like. Overall cool song, but your quality lacked big time in this

Mr. Kez: weird weird weird big ax-d hahaha fun hook entertaing..your flow is spot on, i like it..I'm diggin this beat, it's weird but it's nice..overall weird song but it has a good vibe for the beginning of the album...sounds like this album will be fun and not too overally serious like most of these albums on tr are. BUT AMERICANS TERMS ARE THE SHIT< FUCK YOU > oh oh you were kidding...sarcasm is one of your nicest abilities on the mic, keep that up.--quality wasn't great.-- you've gotten to the point where quality is what's pulling you down cause everything else is right..

If You Could Only Imagine: awww my beat :) I like this song...really do..

Around The Clock: fuck i think tom chambers gonna be mad about this...lol good over all song

this is what i got so far written, but i'll finish later

Well that was my personal choice cause i thought it'd add more to it, but i can see what you mean.

flows: to be quite honest....Ax-D beats doesnt fit you...you always sound very uncontrolled on them..you go fast and then slow as soon as you realise you cant flow to it after 10bars...on tash beats you flowed very solid and regular....i prefered those tracks more...and on southclick beats..hmm its a 50-50 situation...cuz the south-ish Vybe beat didnt make you sound comfortable...but 2Deep,Royal and Snowgoons u did well

Well i can see what you mean about the flows cause i'm trying to experiment with different kinds on this. Personally i thought some Ax-D tracks the flow was fine, but i can accept your opinion. I agree about the Tash beats, maybe that's cause his beats are more contempary and more my style, whereas i tried out different shit on some of Ax's.

mixing: dude i think i never get used to your quality or way of mixing in combination with your pronouncation....that was a big let down...the mixing didnt improve at all...all your verse sounded very unclean and filled idk how to explain it...but check Ax's hooks....he's quality is on point and even his overlays sound clean...only time your mixing sounds somewhat good is when Tash had his touch on it...

It's strange you mention Ax, cause i actually used exactly the same mixing technique as Ax uses, cause he told me to. But maybe it just comes across different due to differences in equipment. But yeah mixing is something that i tried to fix but till i can get studio time it's something that is gonna be there. A couple of the songs were actually mixed by other people and i'm interested that you didn't pick up which ones.

lyrics: were very good....especially in the tracks you went deep on...but you still say fohkin way too much....in that aspect it doesnt really seem you matured on that...so it was a rollercoaster then it drops..nah kiddin but you could easily do it without sayin fohkin...

This is true, but it's just something that comes naturally when i write. It's not a conscious effort. You are right though, i could do with toning it down.

I don't want to seem like a dick either for "criticising" your feed, i'm just replying back lol. I still accept the feed.

Thanks for actually listening to the thing anyway :b:

I await more feed :coffee:

@Tash i think the issue with Game Over is a mixing mistake on my part lol. I await the rest of the feed

-ok. Let's go then. Ready??

- first off all quality wise, the mixing and cleaning of your acapellas and vocals itself was very accurate and well done, maybe just some lil perfections can be added, but I'll work with you on those on msn. Your main problem is the volume controls, sometimes eiher the beat is too high, or sometimes your vocals are too low, I'll point out which ones on the t.b.t. feed.
- I noticed you like.... you love to sing along with the samples, hahaha, sometimes they work fine, sometimes they dont, at all... for example in "Life Is Unfair" you did amazing on that. but on "My Point Of View" sounds too overlayed and bad timed.
- Definitively saw a Step Up, Honestly I didnt though you would be able to top "Universal"... but you did it, this album is your Best Project to date, an amazing work I must say. Even if the album itself is kinda sad and deep, the work and love done for it its what shines out throughout every song, you definitevly pour it all out song by song. And thats what makes you an Artist.
- The beat choices, excelent, that also includes the beats you chose from me, and Tash... Tash did the best beats I have ever seen him done, that worked a lot for you Kez, awsome production, The beats from Soundclick tho... not all of them.
now
1.- Game Over
Good way to start the album with the concep beat for the Album topic overall, the beat was too loud tho so its a bit hard to get it all, the flow was good through out all the beat, I like the lyrics a lot, the hook not so much honestly, plus with this beat I though you could maybe had played a bit with it, but overall a good track. I like "Game Over" at the end. 6/10
2.- Mr. Kez (feat. Big Ax-D)
good track this one, on this one your vocals where too low, but good conection you had with the beat. from the original version I liked lot of things you did, but this new lyrics and new version is also good, plus its good to at least have one of this type of tracks on the album, very good collab and Im happy to have layed a hook on this one. very very enjoyable 9/10
3.- If You Could Only Imagine
The beat is amazing, excellent work from tash, the volume thingy seems to be improved but again a bit low, not too much tho, what I liked the most on this where the lyrics and the hook, deep track, plus nice flow, high replay value, plus I like the fact that the chorus is deep and catchy at the same time, very well mixed, good track. 9/10
4.-Around The Clock
Oh, Tom Chambers n me had sometin for this beat, not sure if he will ever release it so no worries, the volume is good here, good beat choice, the flow is superb nice way to scheme the track, the hook is the classic Kez type, I like that. Couldnt get much of the topic of the track, but I like the lyrics and its a good one to listen to. Good track, but stands on an average track, what I liked the most is the end of verse 2, the lyrical goes amazing on here. 8/10
5.-Rapstar
I loved what u did here, amazing hook, great way to ride the beat, even tho if my beat here lacks a bit of good mixing, there is something you did with the beat here? Cuz sometimes it sounds like bad, I don’t know why, volumes are great, the lyrics are good again, like I said very big step up, but yeah the hook is the best, and the lyrics are pretty inspirational, I liked the end. 7/10
6.-Hill Of Silence (feat. Big Ax-D & Bar)
Perfect volume, mixing, my beat , everything works, I loved your first verse and outro, and its nice to see one collab with verses, I gotta say I enjoyed making the beat on this and I believe its good hahaha, verse 3 bar, the accent makes it a bit hard, but I like your mixing and flow, but I think maybe you could’ve added more Emotion ya know?... excellent track, and good way to finish the track man, I like how you sang the hook again at the end, very high replay value. 9/10
7.- Eyes Of Negativity
One of my favourite tracks of the album, the beat is simple but good, and very smooth and good, just great, the lyrics are amazing, a track to chill and listen too, and the hook is extremely good due to the lyrics man, I like the message, the mastering of the overall track... hmm... it could’ve been amazing if done pro, lol, but well hahahha.... verse 2 the flow kinda went a bit bad, but overall a very good track. I like it. 9/10
8.- My Point Of View
Already fed. Although, this is one of those where the sample singing along doesn’t work good. The beat is good but hmm... could possibly be the worst track on the album. 5/10
9.-Fahrenheit 92’
The beat is amazing, one of my favourite beats on the album, and this track has the best volume managing, very very good lyrics, the hook was not as good tho, very hard to connect to, again verse 2 was the best, an extremely enjoyable track and the overall connection with the beat and the lyrics, plus the topic is good, I like it, another high replay value. 9/10
10.-Bastards
The volume of the beat is too loud here, but still we can hear your vocal good most of the times, nice beat by me hehe, what I like a lot is the hook, one of my favourite tracks also, the lyrics again superb as well as the flow, and once again verse 2 was the best hahaha, have you seen the movie yet? Haha, great great track. 9/10
11.-Ahead Of My Time
Oh, this is a great song, I love the intro, and the beat is nice, great choice, vybe is a good producer, but what shined a lot on this track was the hook, a-fucking-mazing, then the flow, A-FUCKING-Mazing too, the lyrics... this is one of the best tracks on the tape, Ive been listening a lot to this track, its a good beat choice, its amazing lyrics, an amazing hook, amazing flow, exclent delivery, one of a kind emotion on here. Plus good good good to play with the topic. Simply amazing, I love this track 10/10
12.- Worth Dying For
Always liked this track, already fed like... 3 months ago or sometin hahaha, but Im gonna say some stuff again, Im glad that you fixed the volumes, sounds great now, hook is ok, what I didn’t like is that you sound like talking, instead of rapping, good beat from tash but nothing excellent, I like it, bcuz there are a lot of quotables, lyrics are the shine on here. 7/10
13.-End Of Life
The beat is lovely, but where have I heard it before??.. hmm... this is a unique track cuz its something similar but different at the same time, but what sucked was your sing along on the hook hahah, specially at the second hook, and then on the third... couldn’t get a single word... but here my favourite verse was the third. Very good track due to the beat , the flow and the lyrics but your sing along kinda ruined it for me. 7/10 cuz its really not bad.
14.-When We Were Young
What a good track, the beat is excellent, top notch, amazing EXCEPT for one drum that goes in very very weird wich distracts a lot, Fix that if you can tash, cuz the beat is excellent but that little drums fucks it up hahaha. Now the lyrics on this track, Kez really opening up to us, and I appreciate that, the whole verse was great, the great thing is that people will not get bored and skip it cuz you keep it interesting at the same time you keep it deep, so even if it didn’t had a hook you kept it enjoyable and like I said, the lyrics are great. 10/10
15.My Day
The sing along worked here only on the starting hook, after that... really ruins the track, you should leave it again alone. The beat is amazing, and damn man, your a genious keeping it deep, even if at this point the concepts get very repetitive, you still manage to make it good, cuz damn man, the lyrics are again amazing, maybe the saddest track on the tape, but its beautifull and the beat connects with you a lot, also have you noticed that I haven’t been complaingin about the volumes now, bcuz its going great, again an amazing track. 10/10
16.Life Is Unfair
I hate you. This song has been stuck in my head for the last 3,4 days hahaha, your sing along on here worked perfectly and actually made it better, the lyrircs are good, and lmao... I love the “you emo pricks”, amazing track, and damn, gotta be honest here, better than Chamber’s version, and that was a great great track, I love it. Flow is good, specially on the second verse, also at the verse 3, good thing you made it shorter and added the beat fade so it gets the listener back... lmao at the outro. Simple greatness 10/10
17.Comedian
Another masterpiece here. Its a shame that this beat is old, I would’ve had done it again with better quality bcuz its really really good, and the hook, damn man, you did it great, rapped, catchy, deep, works great, I love the lyrics, flow is meh, nothing special, but nothing wrong about it. The lyrics, what I absolutely loved about this track is the the overall of it reminds me of Third Time Lucky which also was a great album, and I love the way you connected here with my beat. The bridge on verse 3, superb. You killed it. Again an amazing work. Deep lyrics, but some of the best and if you listen closely its also a life story. 10/10
18.Aspire
Damn it Tash, how do you do this beats??, and why you haven’t sent me none. What I noticed tho right away is that the volume issue is starting to come back, the pella is a bit lower. Turn that 1.5db’s up and it will work fine. What I absolutely loved about this track was the hook. I can see how the tracks go working with the album concept, the breaking out basically... Thing about this track tho is that there is nothing special with the verses, actually the hook saved you. And the beat did its good job too... great great work 8/10
19.Departure Remix (feat. Big Ax-D)
Im gonna be a cocky mofo now, but this is I think probably my best beat ever and Im glad you remixed it, such an amazing work... the volume of your pella is too low. Put it up so it matches the hook. Your flow is amazing again, and damn, I love my hook too... what a great remix. Verse 2 is also great but this time the best was the first. But what I like of both is that the flow kept on nice, I like the part on the first verse when u speed up... plus Good lyrics again man, this is also one of my favourite tracks. 10/10
20.-Tough Act To Follow
I gotta say great beat choice for the ending track, but again pellas are too low.. smh.. the intro of the beat tho... I don’t know what VTZ was tryng to do lmao... and sometimes he comes back to those drumming frenzies, that kinda ruins the beat for me. But I still like what you did, I love the lyrics man, the hook is great too man, and also brings back some of the old kez, even if by now I don’t know whose better. Both are monsters hahahaha. (the new and old)... so when u combine em both like on this track it sounds amazing... things I don’t like is that drumming things on the beat, the volume. But the rest is good... I don’t know why this track sounds extremely familiar. But I love the lyrics man. 9/10

Overall
Speechless.. your best album so far man, excellent job, a high replay value, Concepts lacked a bit tho, but the the point of this album was mainly this, a breakout, so its only good for it to be sad and deep, but feels good to see that you also got tracks in there like Mr.Kez, Hill Of Silence, Bastards & Departure, cuz kinda interrupts the listener for a little more, and I like it a lot. Plus I feel glad to have produced those tracks, as well as the other 2 deep ones too. This can probably be one of my favourite albums on Trshady, good way to follow up to Universal which also was a masterpiece. But for next times, jsut fix all of those little things that get in the way, like the track mastering, the sample sing along, etc....
Hands Down.

Tash mixed this track so i assume he made these changes

9.-Fahrenheit 92’

Yeah again Tash mixed this one so that's probably why

14.-When We Were Young
What a good track, the beat is excellent, top notch, amazing EXCEPT for one drum that goes in very very weird wich distracts a lot, Fix that if you can tash, cuz the beat is excellent but that little drums fucks it up hahaha.

If i remember right, he did fix it in the final version; originally i had completely different lyrics to this and he mixed it with the pellas and changed the beat around to fix it. But i ended up changing the lyrics so i had to re-record it, so i used the rough version of the beat he sent me to not prolong the wait even more. So that probably explains that.

18.Aspire

Glad you caught it, and i agree about the verses being "nothing special" particularly. I kinda put this track on as a closing statement of what i want to achieve from this point.

20.-Tough Act To Follow

I think you kinda answered your own question there, the track probably sounds familiar cause i intended it to be a final encore of my old style. Definately not saying i'm gonna change completely and never do deep tracks again, cause i probably always will have it in me, but the whole thought behind the album is a final vent and explanation for my past lyrical content, and this is the encore after "my departure".

Thanks for such in-depth feed man, i can see what you mean about some tracks. The reason i sang on the hooks was mainly just blatant self-indulgence cause the beats hit me; on My Day in particular the track hit me so personally that i thought it'd be perfect if i sang along to it, but trying to sing normally to a vocal that's originally sped up and made higher doesn't make for a good combination, i can see.

As for the quality, yeah i tried to use your method for most of these tracks (with the exception of some which Tash produced), but it just seems i didn't get the volumes right on all of em. I really would have got them all mixed by someone, but it went to a point where this album was over nearing a year's work; plus, it's been over 2 years since i released Universal so really i thought i needed to put something out. I'm not trying to make excuses obviously, i accept all feed, and that some were just bad decisions on my part. I just like to respond to feed.

But thanks a lot for the in-depth feed Ax, helps alot :b: And thanks for the amazing beats you contributed to this album.

I look forward to hearin the others' responses :y:
