Lyrics:

Should I just sit here in despair,
hoping that my feelings disappear this year,
and let this wait,
cause maybe you missed fate,
but if it dissipates then I will be pissed, wait,
I can’t do this I’m clueless,
all you do is influence the music through this,
you’re ruthless,
so I guess I am ruthful,
and I’m sorry for that but I can only be truthful…
like I should be, knowin that I could be,
the best for you if you only understood me,
like I understand you,
cause damn you,
got me doing things I had thought that I can’t do,
and if I could only land you,
I wanna give you my hand have myself to hand you,
if I can only grant you a wish, I know it wouldn’t be me,(Nope)
cause you don’t even see me…

If I woulda tried harder and been a little smarter,
I wouldn’t have these feelings to harbor,
but maybe it is farther,
from the truth and is darker,
then days without you in my life for starters,
from day one I know that I dropped hints,
games I played some and no I haven’t stopped since,
I kept the focus in depth and wrote this,
ten different times, but you’d never notice…
so I’m back to square one, pulling my fear from,
the fact I’m scared that you care none,
cause that’s all I see on the daily, from you
as I have come to maybes,
all I do is think twice like I fell on a knife,
and selling my life to you that's a hell of a price,
but it’s something I’m willing to pay,
only if you saw me today but you don’t, so I gotta say…

I wish I could snap back, like a rubber band,
but you got the upper hand, yeah you’re with another man,
so I wonder then, if you’ll ever understand,
that I’m here and offer what no other can,
with that said, I know that I got flaws,
but I’m sick, of feeling like a lost cause,
so keep checking to see if I’m here now,
I shoulda known all I along that I’d wear down…
cause I am settling short, you’re never ignored,
like I am but I will better the course,
I can’t go back on what’s wrote,
but I only lost my head because this love it is cut throat,
it’s sad I was lead on, great,
but it’s clear now yeah I got my head on straight,
so as the days pass I’ll have the last laugh,
as you putting this onto replay and you ask yourself…

feedback appreciated :y:

Well the hooks already in it, so no. D. Dubs is a nickname I got cause of my initials. My names Daren Winch, and people called my D. Dubs cause of the double-you, dubs, get it :y:

And I've been writin for 13 years, recording for like 3-4, I just don't post most songs in here. Thanks for the feed tho I appreciate it a lot.

Wow, you're getting better and better. As usual, the hook sample is perfect, and the beat is amazing.

I like the subject matter and the way you approached it, you can work on the consistency of your flow a bit, but this is def. going on my phone.

Keep it up man!

I love the beat, damn. Makes me want to write something to it. Awesome sample.

I agree with SiiNiDE to a certain extent. However, I think that the flow on the second verse is good. Only flaw about the flow in the first verse has to do with the way you delivered it. I mean, the rhymes hit the instruments accordingly, so the flow is on point. But due to the way you delivered it, it came out choppy. Lyrically it's great, the rhyme scheme is dope and your content is great.

Adding some emotion to your delivery wouldn't hurt the overall song. I like the song, though. Really, one of your best songs in my opinion, mainly 'cause it sounds good. Even if the flow is a bit choppy at some spots, and the delivery is lacking some emotion, it's still a good song.

Keep the work up, just try to work on those points. And your songs will only stay improving in a pro fashion.

This was nice man.

But I think it would sound good with some layering, you know?
Make it "bigger" if you know what I mean...

Other than that, the lyrics are sweet, the flow could be better, but you still did a good job.
Delivery would improve if you did some layers man. :b:
