I'm sure he knew him and were 'friends', but there's alot of people I hang out with and consider friends that I definitely wouldn't make an emotional tribute song for though, you know what I mean? I always figured the Desperados collaboration was mostly through Proof's mutual friendship.

This is all just theory though. I have no clue, but the timing, the fact that Em doesn't speak much on Bugz, and wasn't on the song makes me believe all of this. The only thing I know for an absolute fact was that Em wasn't part of D12 when Bugz died and came back after he died.

Plus, people have said Em had beef/tension with Proof at one point shortly before his career fully took off, and Bugz died around the same time. Someone else in this thread (before the forum restore) also said that Bugz wasn't on good speaking terms with Em, so maybe Bugz died while on bad grounds with Em.

And yes, D12 would be an amazing rap group with all of it's former members and it's weakest link cut off . Its irritating that Em would never do that though.

I just listened to it and saw that Proof called Bugz dudey. Haha, I thought that was just a name between Em and Proof. Apparently not.

I guess Proof was calling his closest friends like that and when him and Em got really close it stucked with them,like he actually sais in Difficult.
