Anybody on Proof's Music?

Postby flyingmonkey10 » Nov 26th, '10, 01:03

anybody here a fan of Proof's music? besides listening to his verses on D12 albums, i haven't listened to any of his solo material. I want to give him a listen but not sure which tracks to check out or which albums.
and would you be able to rate him as a rapper or or compare him to anyone else?

thanks!

I have to say i'm becoming a big fan.Should listen to Searching for Jerry Garcia,really good album(highlights:Clap with me,Kurt Kobain,High Rollers,Forgive me and 72nd &Central).
Time a tell mixtape is pretty good too!He only has a few albums/mixtapes so shouldn't take u too long to listen to them :flower:
PS:also don't miss Promatic-Serious(there are 2 versions,both great)

Don't really like to compare rappers, but he was a hella good MC and rapper.Wish he did more music.R.I.P!

He was decent, but kinda boring. Good lyrics, but his voice just didn't captivate, ya know?

Yes, Searching for Jerry Garcia is a near-classic.

Maybe even so, to me.

He was easily the #2 best in D12 and a great lyricist and musical personality in his own right, who clearly had an appreciation of artistic and musical themes outside of his own genre or some shitty little bravado image - I believe he would of produced truly great solo material.

His debut is a great album, you should listen to it.
