Proof was real, and when I listened to his music I just drifted away. I saw him on a concert, would see him again this year but European tour cancelled.

I still cant believe that he is gone, its weird, and yeah I can just see him freestylin' with bugz in heaven, but its still weird, I just watched Like toy soldiers yesterday, and today he is gone, makes me feel weird inside.

Can't believe this, i first thought that this was a sick joke, but soon i realized that it's true.I feel sorry for his family and friends and everybody else who loved him :'(

....he was a great artist and we lost him :'(

it's really sad but it does make me angry too :angry:

...hip hop is not about this, i think everything has just gone too far...i mean today it''s proof ,tomorrow maybe we'll lose another great artist..it's sad and it's stupid :tounge2:

hip hop is about the talent and how good your lyrics are not about how many beefs you have and become famous cuz of that...i'm not gonna say who i mean but there are rappers that do that to become famous :whistle:

It's just sad that this happened and let's hope that it doesn't continue

....i feel really sorry for em cuz he was his best friend and em is going through so much now :'(

He was one of my favorite members of D12 and i got great respect for him...

Proof was a great man. He was the best in D-12.
When I first read about his death, I couldn't believe in it. I thought it was a joke. It is like a nightmare. But unfortunately it is the truth.
He was more than just the man, he was the great rapper.
I'm sure he was a great friend. Eminem couldn't do what he have done without Proof's help.
Proof won't be forgotten, coz his songs will last forever. And the memory of him will continue live in his friend's hearts, his fan's hearts.
Our world is so cruel. There is no justice. Because if there was a lil bit of it, Proof had been alive! :'(

Proof gone is like D12 gone... even tho dey r still D12 wivout him its not da same... i always look 4ward 2 seein wot Proof has 2 say on evry D12 record n now wen D12's third album comes out nxt year... i wont b able 2 coz Proof has gone home!!! We all go home sum day but 4 Proof it woz too early!!!

I'm in total shock right now. I don't know what to say. I just pray for his children, s**t his whole family & friends. Also the fans. This is f**kin' unbelievible. I hope Em doesn't blame himself for this like he always does. He did have him killed in a video like this. He really needs help & support right now. I mean the whole reason for that video was so this wouldn't happen!!!!! This is crazy. Not Proof man. I hope this doesn't sway Em to stay with Kim & retire. I also hope he doesn't fall back into drugs because of this. Rest In Peace Proof. We love & will never 4get you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You gave us Em & 4 that we are thankful. You were an ill rapper. Just as good as Em.

Its sad that proof had to die in order to be recognised by majority that early neglected proofs solo works. To me proof will always be the kind of rapper i would listen to in a good mood wen im tired of all the similar meaningless rappers out there. I have in my mind a list of rappers that influenced me great throughout the time i was discovering hip hop, Big Proof easily makes the top 10 of my list. His music will still make me feel his presense and influence in this world, coz great music in wich passion is of great input, lives on for decades... I hope none of the people that claim to love hip hop will eve forget him.

Tracks that will always be up on my favourite list to remind me of prooF
