Next Year Will Be Big For Shady/Aftermath

Postby jshashwat » Nov 19th, '07, 12:42

Both the labels are like having almost all their artists releasing solo albums. It's going to be BIG!
Some artists are repeated in the two records but if u got to see ALL artists of Shady Records are dropping their solo next year and all but three (Marsha Ambrosius, Joell Ortiz and Tiffany Villarreal) are dropping their solo. These three are not even popular enough and who know they might just drop their albums next year too. So here it is. From Shady 7 albums and 7 from Aftermath. Without the repeats it makes 11 albums from the two labels and all in one year. Great year for hip-hop. This is gonna be the result of the big break's from Dre and Em'.
Here's The List:

Shady Records-
Eminem- King Mathers
50 Cent- Before I Self Destruct
D12- 3rd Studio Album
Obie Trice- Bottom's Up
Ca$his- Loose Cannon
Stat Quo- Statlanta
Bobby Creekwater- A Brilliant Mistake

Aftermath Entertainment-
Dr. Dre- Detox
Eminem- King Mathers
50 Cent- Before I Self Destruct
Busta Rhymes- Back on My BS
Stat Quo- Statlanta
Bishop Lamont- The Reformation and The Impossible Possible
Raekwon- Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II

1. Don't expect a 50 cent album anytime soon
2. You won't expect Eminem's new album until the end of 2008
3. Detox Im still unsure.

It's all from multiple sources and you can confirm each and everyone on wikipedia too. I think most of them will be released because they have already been pushed back a lot. And 50 most probably will because he wants to finish his contract with Interscope of 5 albums, this being the 4th and the 5th is going to be Greatest Hits. He is also could sure on the release date as the album is all ready.

Looks like u didn't even read the entire post. Some people just don't have any patience and just can't wait to tell everything is bullshit. First read the entire thing MR. BULLSHIT. My post said there are repeated ones and without counting them two times there are 11 albums. And not even one of them is from an unconfirmed source, go check wikipedia. And next time read the entire thing before talking crap.

The initial name of Busta's album was 'Before Hell Freezes Over' and the new name is 'Back on My BS'. U must have got a third name from some false source. Confirming something on wikipedia is only useless if the information on it does not have any reference source but many a times it does and all the albums I posted on this topic have good and reliable sources making the statements. Go check it.

they wouldnt want to release all those albums in one year anyway because their own artists would then be competing with one another.. that just wouldnt be smart marketing.
