I know, I want them to make the most out of their potential. At least we have the satisfaction, judging from the snippets, that "My Life" is the only 'pop-ish' song on there.

I'm more excited for the mixtape, but I'll take Rescue Me, Throw That, Our House (this is going to be the best fucking song, watch), Asylum, Our Way, and Frat House off the album. I think the deluxe edition will be better than the album though.

Yeah, Truth or Truth is too long and not over an original beat and See Dead People is just a rap your ass off over a loop but I still view them as better songs than the first three singles. That being said, I wouldn't want them on their album. I'll give you that.

the mixtape is going to be sub-par. We already have a fucking album full of non-stop lyricism, I for one, want Slaughterhouse to develop and mature as artists, thus we get a new, different album.

Their first album didn't only have non-stop lyricism, and neither does the mixtape though.

Thumbs up for the DJ-less version. The only reason anyone will listen to the tagged one is because it'll drop first. But as soon as the other version is out I'll delete it immediately.

I don't know by the way what is wrong with Hammer Dance. I definitely wouldn't call it a 'filler'. I even risk that based on the snippets it will be among the better songs. So either Hammer Dance is a good song or my expectations were pushed the fuck down.

Compare Hammer Dance to their first album or freestyles over other beats.

Singles ain't great but there not so terrible, that it ruins the whole album as at least it fits the theme and album. Unlike beautiful on Relapse were it sticks out like a sore thumb and shouldn't be no were near the album at all and ruins the album for me. Least from album snippets and singles so far the album as a whole sounds Coherent and something that am sure Em made sure it sounded like after Recovery production was all over the place and felt like Random tracks put together. Seems like em has learnt from it.

Parks did a great job mixing Truth or Truth. The entire mixtape is going to sound amazing quality wise. Weight Scale and See Dead People were obviously unfinished. Can't wait.

I kinda wish Our Way was a Last Call-style track. Maybe it would be too long (maybe it could be a mixtape thing), but they could each talk about their respective careers.

It's similar to Move On but if you listen to Last Call, you'll realise that Kanye doesn't talk about his career during his verses. SH could do a similar thing, rap the best 16 bars they've ever written (Kanye didn't BTW) and then just talk.

Last Call is one of my favourite Kanye songs. I think if SH did something similar it would be my favourite song of theirs too.

'our house' is described as 'dramatic'. i was hoping for something really energetic like their debut album opener, 'sound off' but it sounds like a great song regardless. they kind of just talked on 'truth or truth'

I'm ready to take heat for saying this but Throw It Away has actually grown on me and I kinda like it lol. Also "Lolollololoololo" is for sure the best part of the song lol. Plus I think its got a good bass line...
