That's what I was thinking. At first I was like "Maybe this will drop on tuesday like most songs" but when it didn't I started to think "maybe it's friday because of too much competition for the chart and sales on tuesday? IDK" but then I started thinking "Wait now that doesn't make sense cause newbies can get a nice amount of sales if it's a good single and Friday wouldn't make sense cause it'd have to compete with movies."
Note: Music usually comes out on Mondays and Tuesdays for mass sale amounts, and new movies come out on thursdays and fridays due to it being the end of the week and everyone wants to see a movie (thus increasing their sales for having control on these days). People tend to want music to get through the week and a movie to end it I guess. Wednesday is usually a void just like the weekends. However, if the artist is breaking into the scene they usually don't worry about Mondays or Tuesdays like other established artists and try to grab a day no one is releasing on. It would only make sense if they release tomorrow because the weekend isn't as big for music sales as the week days are.
