You realize that this is entirely subjective right? Like personally, I like Obies catalog better than Yelawolfs, but as far as lyrics, flow, and hooks, I think Yela is far more skilled. I only like Obies catalog better because I prefer the production and delivery a tiny bit more. So for me, your breakdown is entirely idiotic, since your opinion doesn't apply to everyone.

It's just my opinion yeah. But i have met hella fans of Shady records in general who have said outta their own mouths as well, they feel Obie is miles better than the current Shady roaster exluding Em and 50. I'm not just saying this even if a poll was done on facebook or twitter or somethin i think Obie would get way more votes if you compared him to Yela.

This is a two-part question though...

Yelawolf is without a doubt the better artist. If you want to try to argue that Obie has a better catalog, that's a different matter. He put together solid albums, and Cheers was great. However, Yelawolf is starting to hit his stride, without a doubt...he's definitely more creative than Obie Trice has ever been or ever will be.

Trunk Muzik Returns and Arena Rap alone (what, 17 songs?) are more interesting and original than anything Obie Trice has ever put out.

Hooks is where you really got me, Yela has GREAT hooks. Have you not heard Tennessee Love?
Delivery....Again, Obie is almost always the same. Yela is 100x more creative and flows better than Obie ever will.
Beat Selection also has to be equal, Yela has rapped on some preeeeetty awesome beats.

Yeah i find Yelawolf really boring his hooks irritate me he can't sing to save his life but he trys which for me ruins his music. I also find his flow cringe worthy it put's me of. Can't relate either cus i'm not a country dude from the suburbs of Alabama or where ever he from.
