Who the hell made the Our House beat? Horrendous.

Alex Da Kid and I agree man, he's one of the sort of... best examples of this modern style of production which just sounds TERRIBLE to me. It's SO like, there's too much going on. It sounds like this loud, messy, clashy, clangy (aka Recovery) shit in my ears.

Good production to me is crisp, simple, melodic, loud and clear.

Take a beat like "Forgot About Dre" - it's just like, a very simple, memorable melody; and it's very loud and crisp. These recent beats sound like 100 bad beats meshed as one, I remember nothing about them. I couldn't tell you the beat if I heard it again, it's just noise.

"Frat House" is way more overproduced than "Our House" is, imo.

Tbh, I think Em and Skylar's hook on Our House saves the song, along with Joell and Crooked. Royce's is eh. The beat is forgettable, IMO.

Yeah it is. First half is a major headache.

The clarity begins at "Rescue Me", and those closing tracks are a lot better.

I'm re-listening to the album now, as I'm still not entirely sure how I feel...
