Our House lyrics. Like two parts of Em's verse I couldn't understand so I did what I could.

I think Em's verse is actually this...

In our house we spit like six hours
The way I feel now I could spit for six hours
Straight, only way to be great, is to dig down
If you can hear this sound inside my mind sounds like a fucking drive-by
That's what the inside of my mind's like, looking back on
My career even hindsight's tunnel vision, 5 mics
Never wanted that so bad thinking I would (not sure what he says there, but it's not that) go mad
Nomad with a notepad, go Taz
Spaz on these ho bags, you bother me but I never wanna show that
Just don't act like it ever does, even though you know that there will never come
A day someone blows past you who never was, someone whose as dope as you
Ever was, and you hope that's true cause
The competitor in you couldn't let someone be better than you
And you know that, so you don't ever hold back
What you gonna go back, to working a regular job? Fuck that!
I'm gonna go hard grab on my gonads
Tell them fuck theyselves
They call me a ***** like Renee Zell
But I raised hell like a stay-at-home dad
Rap is the only thing that I was ever really bad to the bone at
Guess I'm similar to, gangrene in them, angry with them
Hulk Smash, so much passion but no compassion
If eyes are the windows to the soul then it's
Broken glass and there's no trespassing
Alright now here we go
Dre stamped me now I'm stamping Yelawolf be ready for the most competitive clique in the world it's like Clash Of The Titans
I'm releasing the cracker it's time to set it again
And when it's said and it's all done
None shall fuck with this squadron
So come on in, at your own risk
This is (Our House) Bitch!

Extremely poor writing Marshy boy.

examples:
In our house we spit like six hours
The way I feel now I could spit for six hours

Nomad with a notepad, go Taz
Spaz on these ho bags

I raised hell like a stay-at-home dad

Rap is the only thing that I was ever really bad to the bone at

^those stood out,the whole verse is poor though, bare some parts.

His 2 hooks on the album are still quality, fun and creative.

When joe finishes his couple bars on "The Other Side" i feel something inside me,what a brilliant rapper Joey is,he killed EVERYTHING he was on,Joell really disappointed me on this album,Royce is better than i thought he will be,Crooked was good.
The devil ain't on a level same as him!

Crooked took the shine on this album, definitely. His verse on Rescue Me is fucking deep.

on this album, even though im a fan of royce more than anyone else in the group, i have to say
Joe Budden > Crooked I > Royce > Joell Ortiz
ortiz is the only one who didnt really impress me on the entire album though.. he was good but i dont put him on the same level as the other 3. In some of their older stuff, maybe but not in this album. Royce was good, some funny lyrics and generally he was enjoyable to listen to.. but Crooked I and Budden just made this album for me, both were flawless almost through the whole album :y: and the album itself is good to listen to.. sadly though it isnt consistantly good. There are no songs that stand out to me as classics (Goodbye and Rescue me seem closest to that status imo) but there are 5-6 great songs, 3-4 songs that dont belong on the album and then some stuff that is just in the middle somewhere.. but those great songs alone make the album worth getting imo. And eminem... he didnt do something magic in this album but it was good to listen to and em could shit on the mic for all i care, im enough of a stan that just hearing him makes a track more enjoyable for me. Overall a great album :y:

I don't have any problems with that Eminem verse in itself but it feels out of place. Maybe it's because it was written later but it was a mistake to edit a whole verse out of a complete song. It feels forced for my ears. They needed an Eminem verse and they had 80-minute-long material recorded so they have to edit something. I get that part. But Budden's verse on that low quality snippet sounds more organic compared to the final version. I would have been completely satisfied with 'only' two choruses from Em and that bridge because all that matters is the result. It's still good but it's weird to begin a group album with a song that misses a member of that group.

Some of you complained about the mixing but it was also mentioned in the Rolling Stone article that sometimes it's hard to hear the vocals so it will be like that also on the CD. I only noticed that during Our House, as some of you pointed out it is overproduced and noisy but the rest sounds okay for me. I'm no music engineer to judge it from a professional point of view though.

How much Joe budden do I need to listen to so that I'm not bothered by his horrible delivery?

I mean have you seen videos of this guy live? he sounds like a rottweiler with a mic.
