Well it is.. But I wanted them to reach 80 000 at least. But I guess it's okay. Yelawolf has so much more commercial appeal though if only they knew how to manage him.

I expected Royce to spit a verse from a released song, but Joell too? They disappointed me on that RapFix freestyle, they even used the same song lmfao.

Also, their verses on there were better than many of the album verses!

And wow @ Royce saying he doesn't know how the world will react to Em's new lyrics.

Got a link to it, son?

Not yet, I'll let you know once it's up.

Damn 50-60K still ain't shit. That's only 10-20K more than Yelowolf who released less lead up singles and had virtually no promotion. I was hoping for at least 80K. But generally speaking albums don't sell what they used to. The internet ruined that.

CALM BEFORE THE
SEPTEMBER STORM
Christian Hip-Hop vs. Hardcore Rappers in Battle for #1 Next Week

August 29, 2012

It’s always darkest just before the dawn, or in this case, the beginning of the much-anticipated fall rush of new superstar releases. At least that’s the hope of beleaguered music retailers around this great country of ours, who weighed in with the results of one-day sales.

In what is hopefully the calm before the September storm, it looks like tobyMac and Slaughterhouse will fight it out for #1 next week. The wild card will be sales from the Christian market for veteran tobyMac, the rapper formerly known as Kevin Michael McKeehan, whose Forefront album, Eye on It, is looking at sales of 50-60k.

That puts it head to head for #1 on next week’s chart with Shady/ Aftermath/Interscope Eminem protégés and supergroup Slaughterhouse with their sophomore album, Welcome to Our House. The band features Joe Budden, Crooked I, Joell Ortiz and Royce da 5”9”.

Collective Sounds’ Alanis Morissette album, Havoc and Bright Lights, her first since 2008’s Flavors of Entanglement, is on target for between 37-42k in first-week sales. That release sold 70k in its first week.

Album sales were down 4% vs. last week, down 2% vs. same week last year and down 4% year to date.

Track sales were down 5% vs. last week, up 5% vs. same week last year and up 6% year to date.

TEA sales were down 4% vs. last week, flat vs. same week last year and down 1% year to date.

60k is fucking flop!!!
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

there are 4 places important for hip-hop on the net-
Here- for the community
HHDX- for the news
torrents- for the albums
Deadendhiphop- for expert truth.

i've literally watched EVERY episode ever released by those guys and they are fucking amazing. Even Feefo has stepped up his review game. We already know that Mike thinks the guys are selling out and that they liked, maybe even loved the mixtape. Modest Media said that they recorded about 1 hour of footage on it so it wont just be a "production was dope, rhymes were dope" type of thing. In fact, i'm hoping to get a Watch the Throne type of coverage with Behind the Scenes and a Shady 2.0 review as well.

Been refreshing that page EVERYDAY since it leaked lol. Cant wait...

^same. an hour of footage?! damn. haha yeah, feefo always used to just say 'it was dope' and 'itll bump in da whip' so im glad he's actually listening to the albums now. i remember quite a few conversations about kanye and jay z and im hoping for the same about slaughterhouse/shady. i do remember they had a conversation about shady 2.0 back when slaughter and yelawolf first got signed.

I just read it; and I agree with it.

But, that guy basically says all the things I've been saying since the album dropped and which you made a huge point of disagreeing with me on lmao.
