[RUMOR] Yelawolf to leave Shady Records?

Can’t say I didn’t see this coming. Young white, talented rapper signs to his idol’s label only to find out all is not perfect. Well, that’s what I have been hearing for a minute about Yelawolf. Like many of my rumors, I didn’t say a lot. But, basically I am hearing that Yelawolf has been unhappy for sometime now, but has a tremendous amount of respect for Eminem. So, much that he stayed in a bad situation that wasn’t benefitting him as an artist.

Now, I’m hearing that things have changed. Hearing Yela is seeing life as it is. He’s getting older and he’s seen also what the boy Machine Gun Kelly has done. He’s got a kid and he’s looking to handle his…and that means leaving Shady. Not totally sure about the paperwork, but heard he’s gone (or trying to be gone). If this is true, I can’t blame him. Yelawolf is dope! I once theorized that Eminem got Yela off the market, because he was coming up so crazy. I don’t know. Stranger things have happened to a young rapper.

Now, the question is, can he do it alone?

idk whether to give him props for moving on and striking out on his own or tell him Shady is prolly the best bet for him. while Yela def doesn't need Shady's guidance, having someone like Em review and make sure that your music is the best it can be, should (in theory) be worth whatever album delays he's facing. I want him to stay on Shady records in case they do another Re Up album. but i saw this one coming, as did everyone else loll.

I doubt this illseed knows anything. It's an obvious rumor to make up because Yela's been vocal about his unhappiness with the situation for a while and he doesn't seem to be getting much support from Shady Records. He might as well go independent.

Man this rebuilding Shady Records plan has really failed. It's obvious Interscope has their hands in it too much and Eminem always says he doesn't care about the business side so he probably doesn't get too involved but he needs to if he's going to run a company. I know he doesn't like change but he needs a better team at Shady not just a bunch of people who's been around forever because he has trust issues. Either make some internal changes, push back more with some Interscope business decisions or change it to Shady Publishing and just produce or something.

I would personally be pissed, but I would get why he would leave. Em had SO much to do with WTOH and I kinda felt that he didn't care too much about Radioactive... I think Em has to get his shit figured out personally. Calling Shady 2.0 then letting it all crumble slowly... Just like Shady 1.0 (Stat, Obie, & creekwater) like Koolo said.

Yelawolf has worked his ass off ever since he signed to Shady. Touring a fucking lot (without complaining like the SH members (faggots)), released 2 EP (one with Ed Sheeran, one with Travis Barker), made a lot of features, released a mixtape (Heart of Dixie) and a second one is coming, and a pretty good album.
