The reasons why I think 50 album will be pushed back...again

First of all, I'm anticipating this album as much as you because I'm pretty sure there will be amazing bangers but his album has been pushed back for 3 years (is that correct ?) and the album has already been pushed back at least 2-3 this year.

Plus, Interscope/Aftermath has 2 of the most hyped hip hop artists at the moment.
One of them released his album 5 months ago, he added a lot of additional shows to his world tour and is still doing solid numbers (in fact his sales have increased) and the man has only 1 single under his belt.
He still has to release the film (inspired by the album) and a single with Drake which is already in the charts.
It's fair to say that a single with Drake has a lot of potential in 2013... On the other hand, My Life wasn't rly a big success (2-3 weeks in the charts ?)

50 Cent will say on twitter that he'll release his album during the Summer but the problem is that the other hyped artist from Interscope/Aftermath has to release an album in May/June.
Don't forget that his european tour is already planned and nothing is planned for SKI.
There is no way 50 releases an album at the same time as the best selling artist of the past decade.

I know you have been waiting since 2009 for 50 Cent's album but you don't need to be called Captain Obvious to realize that Interscope will work with the 2 artists I have talked about and not with 50. (commercial reasons)

The man will release another song tonight, probably a free song and it really proves that he has to build his hype on his own.

I think interscope is doing it right this year because the hype of their artists is real but 50 has to leave this label, he is talented but they're fucking his reputation so hard

I'm not really a fan of the other G-unit artists but he is one of the most successful business man so I'm pretty sure he knows what to do

That's what people said back in 09 when BISD was scheduled for an early release and what happened? It dropped in the fourth quarter just because Em had an album ready for a summer release, lol

I sort of think it's gotten pushed back multiple times this year because or Em's album. I'll be a bit surprised if he goes ahead and releases it in the Spring as currently scheduled.

50's stubborn enough so even though he loves EM & is now cool with Dre again, he hates the way Interscope deals with his stuff so once he drops this album he's a goner for sure. At this point it's safe to say Jimmy waves the white flag & tries to hold on for a longer period of time so a solution could be found but there's no going back. In my opinion to have the buzz 50's had since November & to keep coming with dead right tracks & still not having the album out or even concrete new date is more than just bad planning & timing or bad menagement overall.

Well, yeah...

Since Shady Records is under Interscope, they are involved with everything to some extent at the end of the day. 50 Cent is a businessman though, and I can't see him not leaving Interscope when he's done with his contract. He could do similar numbers, and make much more money independently.

Interscope doesn't do a lot for him. The same people that buy his albums now will buy them when he's independent, so I don't think he'll stick around or sign to another major when this contract is up.
