I think it sucks as a record label (look at Cashis' broke ass, Obie ran the fuck away, Bobby Creekwater, Stat Quo, D12 disbanded and shit and both Yela and Slaughterhouse flopped so hard with their Shady debuts)
That doesn't mean all those you mentioned didn't get rich during their time on the label or didn't have the biggest platform they could have... that doesn't mean they didn't get global recognition 'cuz of it. As a matter of fact It actually means totally the opposite.
Cashis had a great deal with Shady financially & he had a great opportunity, Obie earned millions & is a semi-legend nowadays 'cuz of Shady... Stat & Creek have been paid but never really took off, esp. Stat who both EM & Dre gave big push but all his 3 singles flopped at the time when any good rapper from Atlanta was doing splash.
All D12 members went from nothing to having millions & world wide recognition.
Yela & SH flopping is a trouble for the label, not for them personally because all of them were ageing & finance were never there but nowadays they're really good financially & have huge platform exactly 'cuz of Shady.
Yela's said he's gonna always be grateful 'cuz after the hard times he's been in he could buy whatever he wants nowadays.
If SH's Shady album is a flop, then what it is their debut on the other label? You can't be serious with that post, SH members actually begged & did riots to get on Shady.
It's not easy to be on Shady, mostly 'cuz of Interscope & 'cuz if you don't deliver on high standards you have to go, but still been on Shady is privilege... there's thousands of super talented artists nobody knows 'cuz they've never had the chance Obie, Stat & Cashis had.
