It's free, did you expect more?

This is the point, its free! Which means he could have had tracks that are too ''hard'' for an album, raw or whatever kinda tracks that just stay there forever. Plus apart artists has the most freedom on mixtapes by their labels, been a free mixtape means he doesn't really need all expensive beats for it, which gives him even more freedom.
If I gotta be honest, if he had 10 dope tracks, I don't think whoever would be disappointed if a few more were added just as semi fillers or whatever, even though I'm sure he has & could have always added 2-4 that are as dope as the 10 that are on.
Probably he felt he was giving too much though as he's had like 2 other EP's out after the album.

Him thinking he has given us too much after the album is actually reasonable, so in a way I mean I guess I get why it is only 10 tracks.

Now that I've thought it over, 10 tracks does seem like enough for this mixtape. I mean, most rappers put out mixtapes every 4 months with like 20 tracks on each, and when their album comes out... 20k first week. Why? Because their fanbase is used to getting loads of free music from them, so buying the album doesn't seem necessary. This tape will keep me, like Yela said "stay full, but still keep an appetite." In my opinion, Yelawolf should stop making mixtapes after TMR and stick to high profile guest features to keep his buzz up.
