Remember they recorded their first album in 6 days. A month isn't too long if you're in the studio every day just jamming.

This album is going to be beastly.

GOOD GOD CROOKED HAS ME PUMPED. Seriously the most jizzworthy interview ever.

What he said also gives me great hopes for Em as well.

Yeah well Em and Paul saying 'go and do whatever the fuck you want' is awesome...

So maybe for 'our house'... I mean, I don't truly think Em wanted to mold them or make them anything they're not but I think he was trying to use what he knew, what worked with his shit (which he always has done with D12, Obie and 50) to try and elevate collections of verses to songs...

The only problem was he was using what he learned in the Recovery era. He can make that work because he's so used to writing narratives and in different formats but trying to just apply that exact formula to Yela and SH just ruined their shit... so maybe Em/the label were like 'okay well let's see what happens if we try give nudges of directions' and now hopefully they can see the shit doesn't work and you need to TRULY let artists be themselves, and not just say that and then in all actuality try and shape what they do in to something palettable or catchy or whatever...

Imagine if Dre hadn't let Em be Em. We wouldn't have SSLP or MMLP.

So, between this, Love Story and Em's album... which in itself I think will be far less about hits or mainstream appeal again just due to having gotten that out of the way with Recovery and no-doubt hearing the criticism from fans and critics... I think 2013 may be the Shady year that 2012 should have been; pure albums from all of them, with them all on top-form.

And, I don't know about SH but Yela and Em seem in a good place lyrically and sound-wise and everything right now so, I mean... if we don't get a single classic out of these three albums... I don't know what the fuck hip-hop is coming to when all that potion can't produce magic yo.

Under Shady Records they haven't, but their debut was really solid. I think that both Love Story and the new SH album should be what we consider the real first album for these guys with Shady, since they've both pretty much admitted they changed the formula for WT:OH and Radioactive to try and appeal to a wider audience, and it failed.

Wow this gave me so much hype!! :worship: :worship:
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.
