Just finished listening to Stat Quo's latest mixtape "Quo City" and the whole mixtape is fire. Dre and Em fucked up letting him go.

I severely doubt that they told him he couldn't put any mixtapes out.

Only Stat songs I ever truly loved were the songs of The Re-Up and his track Problems(+ the RMX w/ Famous & Flame)they were straight fire especially with the beats and how in time he was - so this shit just does not even rate for me! Btw he did have a few other stand out tracks when he was on shady but can't remember them now - Wayyyyy to blown lol.

@james, no but if you read all the interviews and listened to the tracks back when stat got left the label, all these songs were in the hundreds he did for his album, some leftover tracks some actualy tracks that were goin to be on it, the rest are the same as what game did when he just got signed, did 300+ tracks with dre to get himself as good as he can be. stat wanted to release them but kept getting told like "nah wait till the album tracklist is final incase ya release something that could have been the hit we are looking for" so he sat back and waited for the green light to go and he never got it.

Yeah I see what you're saying. I don't think Stat was treated fairly at shady records, but he should've known what they were about. I mean it took Game 2-4 yrs to release his album. And honestly, Stat hasn't had a song that I've heard yet that could be the HIT that would put him on the map. But I'm not taking Shady/Aftermath's side, Stat has just worn me out with his bitching and moaning about the situation just like Game has.

I think the problem is that Eminem is signing people that are good, but have little commercial appeal. That's all fine but Interscope seems to not want to release something without an in da club single. So it's a lose lose situation.

gotta agree with this , but once you have signed with eminem,. your future will glow .. he makes losers becomes famous

I've said the very same thing Shady Babie. And z_em I think Eminem can get anyone a buzz, but he's not the King Midas of music. Quo has 0 mainstream appeal and he won't because it's not his style.

stat has no "in da club" "my name is" or any breakout tracks that'll give him that push, every single he put out were put out either sloppily or leaked.
