Guess_Who wrote:@block, you seem to have a nice taste for what I could listen in your thread, I downloaded a few of those songs, download the Paradise edition of Born to die, it has great songs like Body electric, Gods and monsters , etc...

@NS, the video of Ride is the latest release, or the album I mentioned above. I never know what you talk about , so pick the answer you like better.

Glad you liked them. :) i'll be adding more soon.

I'll download that album and let you know my thoughts.

^^ I think it was babyjane who said that NS stands for Non sense.

On topic, I've read that the song Bel Air it could be dedicated to her short relation with Axl Rose , there are a few guns´n roses references in the song, roses, heaven's door, sweet child of mine...

A new remix EP by Urban Noise. I love the cover they use. This should have been the Paradise Edition cover:

Image

After the success of the Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Adele Brooklyn.Chicago.London. remix collection

Urban Noize is back doing what they does best. This go round the duo has merged the tunes of the nautical Lana Del Rey with some of Jay-Z’s chart topping records. The production team has simply titled the EP Lana.

Urban Noize describes the essence of the collection “The essence of the Lana EP is to coincide the coolness, sound, & style factor of her music & who she is, with an artist who has similar energy and trait and just have the music to each other.” Just from a quick listen the EP is worth checking out. You can virtually merge Jay-Z with any artist and have a hit on your hands. Check out the Lana EP After the jump.

Singing Ride Live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytWWX-y3 ... r_embedded

In this interview (towards the end) she describes writing a score for a movie coming out next Summer that's based in the 1920s. Many people are guessing she's talking about the Great Gatsby remake. The film is directed by Baz Luhrman and stars Leonardo Dicaprio. That would be really cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... hSysjZofnI

Cool, thanks for the links. :y:

Other way round I prefer the cover of the Paradise edition. It looks more profesional to me. There is something on this new cover that I don't like. Maybe the letters, I don't know, it looks like someone doing that with paint.

I've read that the song Bel Air is going to be in a film called "Tropico", she posted this in her youtube:

”i lost my reputation, i forgot my truth. But i have my beauty and i have my youth,” reads the post. ”TROPICO the film, coming next year.”

I don't know if is this what are you talking about.

^I couldn't find anything about a Tropico film. Sounds like something small. I think she said more than one film so hopefully Great Gatsby is one too.

Annoyed she wasn't nominated for any Grammys. They suck anyway.

Another new leak Break My Fall. I like it especially the lyrics! She's great at making catchy songs without them sounding too stupid pop-ish.

I like the new leak. It's amazing how many great songs she has.

The grammys suck lately, still didn't fall as much as the MTV awards but there they go...

P.S. I bought the Paradise edition. My only complain is Yayo, I would like Serial Killer instead. I always skip yayo, I like the lyrics but the song is just boring....

:flutter: Her cover of End Of The World is on repeat for me.
First heard it in Girl, Interrupted and I know its controversial but I prefer Lana's version more.

^Hmmm I haven't heard that one *goes to listen*

ah yes I remember that song from Girl, Interrupted. Lana gives it different interpretation tho. She sounds like she's from a completely different era, old Hollywood. I think that's why I love her

I love how close she is with her fans :

It seems the other day a drunk woman walked to her and asked her why there was so many people around , and asked if she was famous or what, and she said:
