Yeah, they're really good. I just remembered I actually own Toxicity, Mesmerize and Hypnotize (pirated, lol). I think I'm gonna re-listen to them in the next few days.

BYOB is my shit. :smoking:

I LOVE S.O.A.D. My favorite songs would have to beeee: Toxicity, Sugar, Devils, Spiders, Peephole, and pretty much the rest of "Toxicity" and "Steal this album!"

I swear these guys play in Dropped B on their Toxicity album and in D#/Eb on their Mezmerize album.

... This is me trying it in my own way.

I knew what I wanted to do with this video, for months in advance, I just didn't know how I was going to exicute it. -- This is what you got.
I'm from South London from Westminster to the back streets of Thornton Heath.
Off Brigstock Road.

Those crazy fuckin Armenians

I have those three albums as well. Hopefully their recent touring will lead them back to the studio.

I need Serj yelling at me again. :(

System of a Down- What a phenomenal milestone in Metal. Serj's death metal-esque growls are bone chilling at points, and the vibe for the entire album is an incredible inspiration.

10/10

Fav track: "Suggestions" pioneered what I consider to be an early form of the 'breakdown'

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkLXarnoSXg&t=1m35s

Toxicity- Obviously the most beloved album by many fans, and with good reason! Brought them into the spotlight and gave them the momentum to make it big.

10/10

Fav track: Chop Suey! For way too many reasons.

Honorable mention: toxicity

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWSxELGNShk&t=2m40s

First time I moshed to that when I was 16^ I got floored, and loved it all the same.

Steal This Album!- Amazing for what it was (in my opinion, the rejects of toxicity), but in some ways was even better. Very deep lyrics, obscure and wacky at times, you can tell they are going in a different direction slowly.

9.7/10

Fav track(s): Mr. Jack, Innervision, I-E-A-I-A-I-O, Highway Song, & Fuck the System

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uUruXmq_Kc&t=0m45s

I dare you not to headbang to that ^

Mezmerize- Clearly they were changing up their style to keep it fresh, which is respectable. You could tell Daron got more creative control, as he contributed vocals more on these albums, and content became more about drug use and nonsense.
8.5/10
Fav track(s)- Sad Statue, & Question! (B.Y.O.B honorable mention)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqOFZ1jHX0Q

Hypnotize- Double Albums was a great way to put out more music, and keep the fan happy. Soon after they did the 2006 ozzfest and holy fuck- \m/
8.5/10

Fav track: Soldier Side

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zxb7gHHKAAw

Perfect way to end an album and begin a hiatus ^

I could talk about their music for hours, they are my all time favorite band. I went from Ontario to Alberta and British Columbia back in May 2011 to see both of their comeback shows, i have youtube vids if anybody interested.
Fuck all of you 1990's faggots. 1989 master race reporting in.

toxicity was my favorite album from them

mezmerize and hypnotize imo, should have been combined into a double album. both felt light and lacking and like they wanted to milk people twice.
