Most played album

Postby Slimm » Dec 18th, '11, 20:52

Post your most played album and give some info about it. Is it also your favorite album? Why do you think you have so many plays on it? In a period of how long did it became your most played album? I'll start.

I started listening to this album in May, when it was released. Even though it's relatively a short time, it is still my most played album. It's also my favorite one, and I enjoy every track on it, which is rare for me.

It's just dope. End of. It's definitely my favourite album, it's getting close to being usurped by Late Registration as my most played.

(Non-Rap Album)
Image
Play Count: 233

It's full of slow romantic ballads, stylishly designed for clubs and even those slow tunes can get down and dirty. The sounds are sharp enough to spend a relaxing time listening to it. Some of the songs have a Hip-Hop feel to them(Push" [featuring Lil Wayne]).

I have a total of 328 plays on this album, from my iTunes alone. Not taking into account the amount of times i've listened to it on my mp3 when i'm out. Originally when I first found this band actually their third was more winning me over, this one takes some listening to fully understand. But it's been my favourite since like July, and the opening song is possibly my favourite song of all time.

I really really fell in love with She & Him, they are for sure my favorite band at the moment.

& of course Manchester Orchestra, I took a while to listen to their new album, but I'm so glad I did. I'll admit, a few songs (2 songs) are just boring after a bit, but the other tracks are amazing. It's nice to see Andy Hull reflecting on his past self, in a different manner.

No picture but, the eminem show by a mile :y:

I can honestly say, if you were to count the total plays by adding up every play count for every song it'd have to be more than 4,000. Which sounds kinda sad now that I type it but its been out nearly 10 years already, and say goodbye hollywood is my favorite song of all time, sing for the moment is top 3 for me, and songs like till i collapse, superman, without me, business, white america, square dance and hailies song are all up there on my fav songs list.

mmlp is def second, and recovery may very well be third.

Stan I am :shifty:

Justice System - Rooftop Soundcheck

I'd say this was one of my most played albums. I first heard it a couple of years ago and to this day is still on play very often. Anyone who likes Jazzy Hip-Hop will likely enjoy this album.

The Roots - How I Got Over

When it came out it was a great week for hip-hop as Recovery by Eminem dropped the same week. Reminds me alot of the nice summer of 2010. This album is one of the greatest albums i've ever heard in music. Still being played often although a little less recently due to the new Undun album being out.

OK Computer by Radiohead. Classic album from front to back, I liked every single song.

A lot of people consider it their best album, I much rather prefer other Radiohead albums though. Apart from Pablo Honey and The Bends I would say it's my least favorite.
