I don't think so....anyone can write on wikipedia. She is going to release a special edition of Born to die, paradise edition, in November I think. Body Electric is going to be there.

FUN FACT: Lana's producer Emile Haynie got his first break after handing off a beat CD to Proof (RIP), and from there, his career took off in all directions. Not only did he start producing for various members of Eminem’s Detroit camp (eventually landing a song on Em’s latest album Recovery).....He produced "Going Thru Changes."

His beats were used on two songs on Obie Trice's debut album in 2003. "Both of the songs that I did on the album were coproduced with Eminem," Emile recalls.

On Lana's album he produced or co-produced every song except for Video Games.
-----------------------

When I first saw Lana on SNL I rolled my eyes and dismissed her. After the National Anthem video I decided to give her a listen and her album's really good. I like it mostly for the beats. Also her voice is nice and I like her style: the big beauty queen hair lol. I love the new leaks were getting. I like Serial Killer and Playing Dangerous the best so far. I actually wouldn't mind a song with Eminem. The Serial Killer hook would work on his album I think (with a different beat of course). I haven't listened to Body Electric and She's Not Me yet.

Videogames it's actually the song I like less. Probably the only one I use to skip, along with Carmen. The rest of the album is just perfect.

Lana is not particulary good live, I think many times she tries to sing the things in a different way, so It sounds very different, also she seems to be shy and nervous, but she has a great voice. This live performance is great:

I also love her looks, she has that retro/ sad thing. She is addictive. But I think you love her or hate her.

yea she does alot of overdubs on her studio recordings, thats why it sounds so fleshed out, but its hard to recreate the same sound in a live setting.

btw i checked the source for that wikipedia quote, and found it.

Yep. That's probably the best I heard her live. Normally she tries to do too many voice inflections. She sounds best when she keeps it simple.

that's a shame she stops her music career, she brought something differents but i guess she opens a door for other atypical singer.

it was obvious she was not comfortable on stage, i would be the same, singing sometimes for the fun that's cool but being on stage all the time that would annoy me so much.

probably she will be great as a screenwriter she's very gifted for that.
I'm out of the matrix and I improved my music taste here, I opened my eyes and discovered so different ways to see the world, thanks to you all!

I'm hooked to her music. I looooooove all her songs. Love the new snippets too.

@Alex, yes she is not comfortable on stage, I think she is too shy, and have a hard time there, but I hope she doesn't stop doing music, in a world of Rihannas and Lady Gagas is something fresh and cool. Well at least I hope I can have the studio version of Body Electric soon...

Heard the full songs Damn You and Hollywood Dead over the weekend. Out of all the leaks Serial Killer and Damn You are my favorites. I really like Playing Dangerous too. It's different and cool.
