The Doors

One of my all time favorite bands. Jim Morrison is straight beast. Intelligent, charismatic, poet, but yet great singing voice to accompany the band's music. He only lived to be 27, but he lived life doing what he wanted to do and how he wanted to do it, and by that standard, he's admirable.

He thought he was the reincarnate of Dionysus, but I may have to agree.

Maybe words offensive - free speech I don't fear it
Maybe music can take us to a place so atmospheric
Beyond our greatest imagination, illuminatin' experience
If we open our ears and close our inhibitions, it's clear"

Maybe my favorite song.

Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire, yeah

This music actually make me feel I'm high...

I also love Riders on the storm, Break on through to the other side...

I also liked this movie about the doors, Val kilmer is great as Jim Morrison:

It helps to understand many things. Oliver Stone made a good job.

Eh I never got into them. The music is too slow for me. I'm a really aggressive person and most older music isn't that aggressive to me. Jim Morrison though, he was a GOAT rockstar. Even went out like a true rockstar. Great voice and lyricist. It's just the music itself never really appealed to me. I respect them though, moreso than I respect The Beetles (whose music I really don't like).
