How do you find your music?

Postby Dante » May 23rd, '13, 00:09

Usually, I torrent music or go on sites like datpiff. But lately, I haven't found any new music interesting. I'm beginning to check out some of the underground artists mentioned here, but I'm looking for something fresh. Not just hip-hop, more into the R&B and Alternative stuff.

I find alot of underground music on soundcloud actually. The discover button is pretty neat.
TrShady is just great. A place where pompousus blowhards can connect with other pompousus blowhards, and form a vast circle jerk of pomposity.

Wikipedia tbh.

Associated acts, or random search sometimes, doesn't help with underground stuff though
Fuck all of you 1990's faggots. 1989 master race reporting in.

I check out what people recommend. Or randomly stumble upon something good on MTV.

Talking to friends tbh, they know I'm pretty much open to any artist or any genre. So when they tell my they really like this artist that I haven't heard or anything I check them out.

Accidentally YouTube.
“There are not more than five musical notes, yet the combinations of these five give rise to more melodies that can ever be heard.
There are not more than five primary colours, yet in combination
they produce more hues than can ever been seen.
There are not more than five cardinal tastes, yet combinations of
them yield more flavours than can ever be tasted.”
