There was nothing wrong with Drake's singing on this though lol. It's not like you can honestly say he was off pitch. He sounded fine.

Well, I'll get hate for this, but I think he's trying to sound like something he's not. Legit it sounds like he wants to sound like Chris Brown but his voice isn't as good as his and he can't really reach highs either. Sounds a bit monotonous.

But it's definitely not SOTY and with the great RNB that's coming out right now I feel like he shouldn't try to fit in because he's not up to par with them. Just my 2 cents though.

Fair enough...I agree that Drake is not as good of a singer as Chris Brown, but at the same time I think he sounds great on this song as in he's holding his own. He doesn't try to hit any high notes (because he can't), I noticed that too. I always like Drake's sung hooks and this to me is basically getting to hear a whole song of that. And I love Take Care, so this seems to me a step in the right direction for him.

Never said it was song of the year so yeah, agreed. Not just because there is a lot of great R&B, but 2013 has had a lot of good releases in general.
