It does feel a little underwhelming, but that's my fault since it became one of my most anticipated albums after hearing The Negative One, which turned out to be one of the best tracks imo. I don't think anyone actually thought it'd be better than Iowa, but I guess I just wanted something like People = Shit.

So far, it seems like a 7-8/10.

I'll definitely be listening to it more. Hopefully it'll grow on me. :y:

I'm a Slipknot fan (hence my current av) and the album isn't bad at all, but left me disappointed for the same reason you just said, but it makes you wonder: Is it our fault for expecting more soon-to-be classic Slipknot tracks like 'People = Shit' after hearing 'The Negative One', or is it Slipknot's fault for releasing a final product that wasn't too similar to the teasers they provided us?

The album is like a cheese pizza with one or two really good pieces that have canadian bacon, pepperoni, sausage, etc. The pizza's good, naturally, but it kinda makes you think the cheese pizza is shitty in comparison to those two God-tier pieces.

(Like my analogy? I'm hungry as shit right now)

Is there a legit 320? All these seem to be transcoded.

I didn't buy $200 headphones for shit, I'll wait 'til I can get this in some quality.

I've heard it's one of the best on the album.... I WILL NOT LISTEN DAMN IT!

It's an official streaming, so it's not like you're downloading the song before it's released :D

Album is underwhelming after 2 listens but still very good. I dont think it could ever live up to the hype and The Negative One is by far and away the best track.

That song is awesome. Plenty of love for it. The Negative One is just way better.

It hurts :'( I'm just goanna wait until new year and buy a ticket nearer the time
I've learnt my lesson from buying Eminem and Beyonce tickets before, don't believe the hype - You can always get tickets before a show cheaper

Also want to see HATEBREED in November, but it's sold out
Small venue too so would have been out of this world, dunno whether to claim my Die Hard VIP for life for this gig...

Aone10 wrote:Would of those of you that have heard it say it's better than All Hope Is Gone?

I'd say they are close but All Hope is Gone may be better, but I love that album. Sulfur, All Hope is Gone and Gemetria are better than every track except maybe The Negative One. The worst tracks from The Gray Chapter are better than the worst tracks on All Hope is Gone.

To be honest i never bought any tickets on presale, but i guess it depends on the concert too, sometimes it might be worth it...and you can even get them at the gate cheaper if you're lucky :D
