Linkin Park vs Limp Bizkit

Both are similar and were at their best/popular around the same time. Who do you like better?

Singin' "Bagpipes from Baghdad" again
In my dad's drag draggin' a faggot in a Glad bag
Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line
Forgive me father, for I have sinned
But hip hop has left me brainwashed with a violent streak

Limp Bizkit still puts out music I like and I'll EASILY take their first 3 albums over LP's first 2.

The Hunting Party was pretty good man. It was way better than Gold Cobra imo.

I tried listening to it.... but couldn't dig it.

Also, A Thousand Suns praise really ranges in their fanbase. Some people say it's one of their worst albums (I believe some of the LP fans on here say that), but a lot of people also say it's one of their best. I personally feel that the latter is true. Check it out :y:

Lol! He's not gonna like that one  I don't hate it, but it's definitely their worst album.

Hybrid Theory 10/10
Meteora 10/10
The Hunting Party 8/10
Minutes To Midnight 7/10
Living Things 6.5/10
A Thousand Suns 6/10

Notice how you're favorite LP albums are ordered in from their heaviest (Hybrid Theory/Meteora) to their least heavy album (A Thousand Suns). It's obvious you like the heavier side of LP. But saying ATS is 'definitely their worst album' isn't right. Just like Relapse is praised on here and definitely not thought of the same across all platforms, neither is ATS confirmed to be their worse. Go to a website like Linkin Park Association (The biggest LP website on the internet), and you'll see that it's regularly praised as one of their best albums.

In my opinion it's what they attempted with MtM done right. It's definitely LP at their most creative. It's their most diverse and atmospheric album they've ever made. Also some of the best writing in their careers. :D

It's without a question their most polarizing album, that's for sure.

Lol, he got banned like two years ago.

ATS is easily the best Linkin Park album. The production is untouchable, lyrics perfect, and has a great concept. It's my favorite album of all time.

ATS is just boring most of the time. I don't even remember the last time I put that album on.

And btw, I listen to a lot of soft music so that has nothing to do with it. One of my favorite bands is Katatonia. If LP could make something beautiful like this, then I'd love it.

It's not like there's a formula for what LP album is your favorite. I just stated that you tend to like the heavier side of Linkin Park more, which is correct considering the heaviest albums are your favorite, the and lightest albums are you're least favorite and apparently 'boring'. And I never said you didn't listen to soft music, that has nothing to do with what I said...

I agree with this. Best production, lyrics, and concept of any Linkin Park album.

It's pretty cool when a band commit themselves to a sound/idea/concept and go through with it completely. Especially for LP, they did a complete 180 on the sound that made them popular.

Nah I agree. ATS sucked. Too little Chester. BUT I will say I prefer their either heavy stuff. But I also like their softer stuff when done right. IMO ATS just sucked all together and was NOT LP, it was like (how ppl on TR say) Eminem's Recovery Album .I will say Hybrid Theory had the best mix of rock and rap. Classic!
for me -
Hybrid Theory - 10/10
Meteora - 9.9/10
Minutes To Midnight - 9/10
The Hunting Party - 8/10
Living Things - 7/10
A Thousand Suns - 4/10
