The Beatles Appreciation Thread

Postby Rafael » Sep 9th, '14, 01:40

Image

This thread is to appreciate the most influential, long-lasting, and highest selling musical act of all time.

Image

Started out as just a few boys playing in underground clubs, to world-wide mega stars, to LSD ridden psychedelic experimenters.

Image

Imo, while Beatlemania was one of the most important parts of their career, I believe (like most people) that after they quit touring and stayed in Abbey Road studios making albums and experimenting with new sounds is their ultimate peak. If not, one of the biggest musical peaks of all time.

Come appreciate and share your thoughts Beatle fam :y:

This definetly, with the addition of the Magical Mystery Tour. Goat discography.

I don't exactly enjoy them that much, but I'm learning to play guitar and their stuff is just perfect for practice.

I really think calling them overrated is complete overstatement.

These guys came up with and pioneered some music no had attempted ever, true genius.

Revisted the White Album these past few months, and damn. It's extremely well made.

Every single song is beautiful (with the exception of Wild Honey Pie, but it's mostly an interlude so it doesn't bother much) But it's incredible to pull off such a monster of a double album, especially with the turmoil the band was face during that time period.
