The Sums appreciation (lots of embedded videos inside)

Postby DƎRDYPK » Nov 3rd, '14, 21:41

Without a doubt one of the best bands imho, have only heard their first 4 albums & have yet to dive into Underclass Hero & Screaming Bloody Murder. but Half Hour Of Power, AKNF, DTLI?, & Chuck are some crankin albums with great tunes. My favorite song of theirs is either: Motivation, The Hell Song, or No Reason. great great music i'd say. what do you guys think?

I like them, I like Pieces the most.

I think it was you who like Smashing Pumpkins and Blink 182, so we have some taste in common. Oh and Crazy Town -butterfly....only person I know that enjoy that song too. :y:

Great band, honestly. They had a large amount of appeal in their prime., People argued that they are just clones of all the other bands out, but they had their own unique style and it made me love them when I was growing up.

A lot of their songs are actually really emotional and deep and I appreciate that kind of shit, you know. The guitarist is really talented as well as the drummer.

Cool song :y:
if it wasn't Sum 41 I could see that being a Green Day song on American Idiot

Yes, actually Sum 41 reminds me to Green Day many times.

There is an acustic version of Blood in my eyes, that I find much more better than the original :

And I'm over you, congratulations
Thank you for all the pain
Cause it made it be so much more fun

There's nothing to say now
The feelings are already dead (they're dead)
And I don't believe theres a way now
All that is said has been said (been said)
I'm waiting for another day, another way
I don't believe that you can make all the pain go away
So I'll leave it all behind, but I'm leaving with blood in my eyes

Loving the lyrics too, reminds me to someone though.
