first off, i want to apologise for this. i am aware that there are many 'Not Afraid' topics already surfacing the site, but i wanted to make a quick observation that would just get lost amongst the million posts taking place in the current threads.
so, does anyone else think that lyrically, he's stepped down a bit for this song? i mean. the rhymes are a lot more basic and he doesn't have anywhere near as many multis as he usually does. i'm not trying to say that it takes anything away from the song, but the perfect song would surely have more multis and truly showcase his talent? compare this song to Lose Yourself. both are fantastic songs, but Lose Yourself undoubtedly has much more multis.
in no way am i saying that the rhymes or the multis are BAD. they are good! but i still think he stepped down slightly. probably intentionally.
anyway, amazing track. well done Marshall. i've got a sneaky suspicion that he DOES go on the internet to see what his fans want .. or at least gets someone to do it for him.
CANNOT WAIT FOR RECOVERY! a whole album of this?! WOW.
