Evil Deeds

Postby Insidious91 » Oct 21st, '12, 03:45

I've been listening to this song a lot this past week, and I think this song has to be the best head bopping song on the album. I mean the flow on this song is really underrated. I just love how this song sounds overall. What are your thoughts?

I think it's great overall, but I don't really listen to it anymore for some reason I just can't listen to it, I skip it a lot when it comes up in my ipod

Ehhh Big Weenie is ok. But regarding Evil Deeds, that's the whole point, the flow carries the whole song, which distracts you from the actual lyrics. Atleast he's talking about something that's on his mind, and not some nonsense just for the sake of rapping, naw what I'm sayin?

I definitely know what you mean. I find the 3rd verse executes that style most effectively. The others aren't bad, they're just different (mainly 'cause they repeat words a lot and it gets a little annoying lol).

Also this line in the 2nd verse makes me angry

Why do I go through so much bullshit, it sucks bullshit, it's tush mull bish

That makes no sense lol. I love the 3rd verse though. It's really good.

Lmao yeah I thought I heard that tush mull bish line wrong and had to look it up on rap genius. Turns out That line was just there for the sake of rhyming, lol. I think Em realized how some of the lyrics didn't make much sense so he just concentrated purely on the flow to distract you from such non sense rhymes. That's why I appreciate the song so much. That chorus is so haunting though :worship:

Fair enough lol :y: You just have to be in the mood for it I guess lol

He also says "if I only had half of it, if you only knew the half of it" which makes me think he's not in control of all the money he earns, which makes me wonder what's really behind that story.

I always took that line to mean that the fans or whoever looks at Em, the superrich multimillionaire and says "If I only had half of it...", because that part of the song is about people on the outside criticizing Em for whining when he has so much money, because he shouldn't have anything to complain about, he's got enough money to set his great-great grandkids for life. And then "if you only knew the half of it" was Em responding to the criticism and saying that fame or backstabbers or whatever make his life miserable despite the money.

I didn't explain that well, sorry.

Thanks for the tip, will keep it in mind for future posts. :flower: . Back to the original topic, I really believe Eminem had the potential to make a fantastic album with Encore. I mean he still had the witt to pull it off. He just got lazy. Oh what could of been :flutter: .

Decent song but that echo thing he was doing during the first verse was annoying.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?
