I don`t really like this song. I don`t know why. I guess it`s the beat, that is my biggest problem with the most of Recovery. I don`t hate the song, but I rarely listen to it.

Dont like the song.
The beat is not good and it was years old when EM picked it.Sounded outdated,just like Not Afraid beat.
I like EMs hook/bridge but the actual chorus is meeh.

I love the song, and the bridge is great. One of the more personal songs in Recovery. Like you say the lyrics help to understand what he went through...I like songs that talk of something. Not empty lyrics.
I think Won't back down get much more hate than this song. Something that I can't understand neither. Another great song to me.

Honestly Em sounds like a little fag feeling remorse for something he almost did. Weakest of emotions displayed on this song. There were some good parts but not enough to save the song. I hope we never hear Em do some shit like this ever again.
