Imagine the lyrics and concept of "Legacy" over some piece of shit Recovery beat, it would go from being a 9/10 song to about a 7, if that.

The boosting on the low frequencies for EQ gave him a trapped feel for the first two verses. Then the last verse is normal EQ and it sounds like he's free. Whew.

When someone can't understand the genius of this song, especially the writing, atmosphere and vocal performance which actually almost borders on an acting performance, they might as well be telling me that the sun isn't bright or that birds don't fly.
It's an instant top ten Em song for me and I'm not a knee-jerk reaction kind of person but c'mon, keeping the same rhyme scheme through-out the whole song without sacrificing a single line, this song is "On Fire" on fire.
Oh and the chorus, it's so enchanting. Perfect.

Yes. I've slowly come to appreciate this song over time. I think it has a very valid message and riveting storytelling elements.
